Nani's Gelato — Attraction in Mississauga

Nani's offers gelato with a wide range of flavours, as well as sorbettos and soft serve that include both diary and non-diary (vegan) options. They specialize in producing Asian, Indian and authentic Italian gelato flavours.

Nani's Gelato says they rotate over 100 flavours each season and always have a combination of Italian inspired flavours, Asian inspired, Indian inspired, fusion flavours and gelato soft serve. They serve 8-10 gelato flavours in their shop each week including 8 gelato flavours and 2 soft serve gelato flavours.

I came here with a friend on a late Sunday afternoon. It was great to see the Mississauga location open!

At the time of this post, I ordered the Biscoff Salted Caramel & Pistachio Saffron and my friend ordered Pistachio Saffron & Double Chocolate Nutella. I would highly recommend getting the Pistachio Saffron as it is one of their legendary gelato flavours made with 100% Italian paste and pistachio crumble. That is going to get a 'WOW' moment 😋. I would give both of these gelatos a 🔥.

I had an amazing time with their customer service. The two ladies were very kind and let us sampled the flavours before we finalized our selections. They were also knowledgeable in regards to pairing different flavours together so don't hesitate to ask them advice on pairing the best flavour for your gelato.

Nani's is one of the legendary gelato spots in Sauga. They also have another location in Toronto (Yonge & Charles St). I would certainly be coming back to try out more of their authentic gelato...

My wife and I tried authentic Italian gelato while on a cruise to Italy a few years back. And we were hooked for life.

But the store bought versions at Loblaws etc. were nice, but it was missing that extra TLC / home made texture and flavour. So when I found about Nani's Gelato, I went out of my way to "stalk" the construction of their new Mississauga location...yep...I was a bonafide " Gelato Stalker".....and please don't judge me....LOL !!!

The service is amazing and you can try all their flavours before you buy. Amazing service really.

And boy oh boy, the flavours and the textures are an instant Home Run. Their various flavours comes with their own individual textures and bits of fruit/coconut/chocolate etc....which amps up the experience.

The service really brings it over the top. It is always super friendly and knowledgeable. And their new flavours every month is a hit for sure. Be sure to follow them on FB to get news on their newest flavours.

If this isn't your number 1, go to place for Gelato. You need to give your head a shake! This is the absolutely best gelato in Ontario/the world. I used to think the best was at this small hole in the wall store in Rome. NOPE Nani's wins hands down. The Pistachio is great, dare I say perfect, and a close second is anything with Biscoff inside it. Disagree? Naw, not even possible. If you haven't already decided, drop what you're doing and head there now! Edited Review ** - Over the past 2 months, I have visited this Nanis location a few times. It is unfortunate that I am lowering my 5 star rating to 2. When I first started going, they would literally stuff your cone and top it with a heaping scoop of gelato. Recently, I have noticed the portions being reduced substantially. I dont believe this is training. I think it's being directed to the employees by upper management. Due to food costs increasing, they have been told to reduce portion sizes, but costs have remained the same. My suggestion would be to increase your prices and keep giving uniquely generous scoop sizes, and with that, a unique experience. My partner and I were considering franchising but have since changed our minds. Hopefully, management realizes that people like myself that frequent a new upstart business notice these changes, and it puts a sour taste...
