I change my review from 2star to 4star. Because they are open on holiday. Before I put 2 star ( long ago) because of watery soup but they have since improve ( I have not tried the soup again). I wanted to give 4 stars because they do have huge selection, and because their sushi dept is so cheap. They have probably one of the cheapest sushi's. But the quality ( depend on flavour you get) is so so. Their sushi is cheaper than Walmart ( surprisely Walmart has good sushi but you get tiny amount at Walmart, but T&T you get big amount). The only thing is California roll at Walmart taste a little better? But Walmart sushi is expensive...7.27 for tiny California roll. At T&T, Calfornia roll seem little bigger and only 5.49 or 5.99 at T&T. Only complaint is the imitation crab ( California roll) taste little cheap. The Walmart California roll's imitation crab tastes better but you hardly get any at Walmart. So I go to Walmart for expensive sushi and T&T for cheaper sushi. Today, I got Salmon nigri combo with California roll ( you get both Calfornia Roll & Salmon Nigiri) for only 10.99 at T&T. It felt like it was big. But like I said the california roll's imitation crab tasted a little cheaper and they hardly give any or almost no avocado ( they do give cucumber) in California roll. Anyhow, i gave T&T four star because their hot table today had sweet and sour pork which was fresh and crispy ( very good) and also general tao chicken. Cook was good. Hot table looks good but I did not try everything....be careful, the hot table gets expensive. The rest of the store has interesting stuff. For example they had Rice cracker ( both black rice and regular rice cracker) which had both corn and soy bean. So you are eating protein ( because it had soybean). It was delicious, best rice or corn cracker I ever tasted. But maybe I cannot eat too much soy bean. Soy bean was concentrated in that cracker. It was delicious but i dont digest soybean very well, so I had mild stomach problem. So if you dont digest soybean dont get that special cracker. It was delicious but only for those who can digest it. They have tons of interesting stuff. Way too much Ramen noodle. The selection is huge and i got confused just looking at Ramen since I dont read chinese. I just want mention, the Nigiri & California roll combo for 10.99, I was stuffed. I was so full after eating that sushi...

Added on 24 Oct 2021: went to get Chinese fried dough “yao tiu” and realised they have increased the price from $1.99 (last bought 22 Sep 2021) to $2.49. $0.50 increase may not seem to be a lot, but when you think about a 0.50 increase on an item that’s initially $1.99, then that’s quite a lot - 25% increase! Also, in a way they made the price gap in between getting from a supermarket and a restaurant even smaller, made customers start to wonder why not getting it from specialised congee stores in the neighbourhood? From specialised congee stores, it ranges from as low as $2.50. Just thought to share with everyone. Probably there are other things with increased price too in T&T, and here is one I found on my most recent trip.

Our go to supermarket for Asian food ingredients. They have great varieties of selection and very well organised.

Their fresh meat and seafood section is especially clean and bright if you compared to other Asian supermarket.

Most of the things that we look for, we are able to find it there. Overall the staff has been friendly and helpful.

Just one time there was this quite tricky encounter though, that there was this “special price” tag on the rack for the item I was looking at, and I grabbed it, only to find out at the cashier that the special price is no longer available. I actually went back to the aisle to check and there is this tiny little font stated the promotion end date. I would have preferred them to take the special price tag away as soon as the promotion ends, otherwise it’s just too tricky for the customers. Just my two cents. So ever since that experience, I always read carefully with their tag

They provide a huge selection however the price is not necessarily cheaper than elsewhere if the item can be found at another place, especially western food ingredients.

Overall, a great place to shop!

Oh and we don’t usually buy the hot food, but tried the Portuguese egg tart recently. I must say it’s really decent, although it’s on a little sweeter side for my personal preference, but definitely able to satisfy my craving if you don’t want to...

Above my expectations. As an Asian Canadian x 40 years, PROUD 👏 to see such success achievement by T &T. CLEANINESS, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ✔️ ✅️. ONE MINOR SHORT COMING is that I eat DAILY @ 715 Central Parkway location with food purchases below $20. It is simply the fact that I love ❤️ T&T, my one meal of a day which I can afford is my early lunch. Unfortunately, it is always below $20. FACT: I eat @ 715 Central Parkway location, 7 days a week ! But my " purchase " is below $20. Therefore, my purchases doesnot count according to the rule of T&T reward system. A friendly reminder, today, there are MANY singles struggling to survive on daily basis. We are loyal to T & T . Why the T& T reward system overlooking client situations like what I disclose ! When T & T adds up 7 days a week of lunches purchases, I truly believe Tiffany would take a good look at the weak point of T & T rewards program. Singles like myself, doesnot need to buy a list of groceries ! All we need is a great lunch purchases @ the Hot food table. As you adds up per week , it shocks 😲 you how much I spend in 1 week ( daily lunch , cannot afford DINNER ' s cost.) I was born in Toronto. Thanks to T & T, , I enjoyed every lunch @ T&T daily. I can't afford dinner. Your hot table is my kitchen , thanks 😊. Should you consider T&T reward program should based upon weekly or monthly purchase?. Singles like myself will never need to buy groceries more than $20. In contrast, I bought lunch from your T&T , around $18 per day , every day. It is heavenly if you review the reward program , integrates into " non single purchase $20" Reality is most immigrants aren't able to have a family, in GTA. Thank GOD We live another day. So, if T&T reward program wishes to apply to all purchases, obviously, a need to change to " point" system per month ! I love ❤️ T&T. 👏 proud to see your success in North America. Just not ignoring those SINGLES folks....where you T&T reward program wants to offer to the " SINGLEs" my...

It is rare to find something negative about T&T. The store is always buzzing with life and always the smells of great food and pastry are there to greet you as you make your way in. At the front of the store there is always a display ready to showcase certain holidays and certain specials and sale items available in store. Workers are always busy behind the food counters chopping, mixing, wrapping, frying, baking. The shelves are always lined beautifully with onigiri, sushi to the right, a hot table with anything from brisket (absolutely delicious by the way), to regular fare like sweet 'n' sour pork, fried rice etc. There is always dim sum, and a Neverending display of freshly baked cakes, buns, breads. The freezers are always filled with a ton of pre-made meals to help make those fright nights easier. Further down you will find fridges filled with all kinds of milk and milk alternatives, juices, desserts etc. The meat section/seafood section has something for everyone and the produce section is fantastic and always boasts fruits/veggies not readily available in other mainstream supermarkets. On this trip a beautiful case of Persimmon made it's way in my basket. Every piece of fruit was pristine and perfect w/o defects. They were also very delicious and sweet. You have options at check out, self serve or cashiers. There is never a shortage of cashiers to help. Majority of the staff speaks English which helps a lot. And they are always ready to answer questions. I've never not been helped when asked for it. Definitely a go to spot for me.

The best asian (🇨🇳🇰🇷🇰🇵🇯🇵 etc) supermarket in Mississauga the store is enormous . As there are many pictures of the interior of t and t I decided to post some of my purchases with my favourite noodles and snacks . Every time I go there I always try something different their drink selection is insane I think it’s on the left side , not the fridge drinks . Good priced sushi I am pretty sure the the nong shim noodles follow the noodle market stock prices as they tend to fluctuate lol . You can get them in bulk anyways I was able to lol . This place is always busy . There is no correct time to go their if you want to avoid line ups . The only advice I can give to anyone if they want use a loop whole while if you have 5(+2/-2 estimate )—[not sure the exact number but they are pretty lenient if you go over their threshold limit ]go to the front cashier where they sell the medicine , lotto tickets etc and they will check it out . Excellent establishment well run and maintained considering how busy it can get . They got everything noodles a mini restaurant , sushi isle , frozen fush , live fish , whatever you need they pretty much have . Their soy selection is also massive . It’s a wild experience every time I go there . Good grocery store . Bring some Serbian items lol I ll go their more often .
