On July 20th (afternoon) - My mother, father, and myself went with 3 of my nieces to check the price of Butterfly World. Upon leaving an entire board of wood flew up and my mother fell face first into the gravel next to the boardwalk and cut both knees pretty badly. I took the entire board - many of which were rotten with rusty nails - up to the payment area and told the girl "we have a problem. My mom fell and this board entirely came off." To which she was NICE AND POLITE but also replied "Yeah. We've been having some issues with it."

There was also noticably other boards partially up as well. I emailed that night and today is July 27th and no response. I tried emailing today in the early afternoon and the email bounced back with an error so I'm unsure if they've blocked me or what but if that's the response that managment has then maybe a call from my lawyer for negligence will make them listen.

Unreal and a shame because although it's very rundown there.. last summer I enjoyed the butterflies but I'm so glad we decided to leave and go home instead after how pathetic this place has become. She's still a week later sore and no response at all thus far in entirely neglectful and pure negligence considering the worker acknowledged having issues with it.

It's VERY SIMPLE. Spend a couple grand (if that) from the overpriced fees you charge and replace the rotten wood otherwise someone else is going...

Came in a fairly large group, around 15 people in total. The park was pretty much empty with the exceptions being other small families. We went for water bumpers and there was no other people in line for it. We were told that we would have to wait a bit as there were people about to go cart that were there a little before us. Fine with us, we were okay with waiting. 20-30 minutes later they were done, we were still waiting. as that group left, we expected to be the ones to go next on our activity. however, another family arrives for go carting and they immediately start to set them up. a family member of mine complains that we have been waiting for a long time and that we shouldn’t be waiting for others to have to go even though we were lined up way before them. their responses were that go carts have priority over everything else, and if people were going to be lining up for go carts, then they would always have to focus before anyone else. Absolutely ridiculous, the fact that they had the audacity to admit that they would ignore us if others were to...

A local daycare had planned a wonderful day at Butterfly world to be turned down at the door because the “ big groups kill butterflies” . Even though the daycare had called weeks before planning this day and there wasn’t an issue at all. I can tell you, I’ve been to Butterfly World before and it was packed in there, so I’m not really sure the difference, unless the owner was upset that some of the kids got in free because they were under three. The other kids were charged 3$ but again at the door, the owner decided to up the price to 5$. The owner also doesn’t like butterfly world complaints as he phone the local daycare very upset that the situation was posted on Facebook. Honestly, after destroying a bunch of 3-4 years spirit, I have absolutely not desire to ever go to Butterfly World, or even recommend it to anyone. It’s butterfly World for kids?? I mean it’s in the middle of the Board Walk that’s family oriented?? So I wouldn’t even bother going there if you have small children, they may kill the...

We visited The Boardwalk at Magnetic Hill with our family of four and had a mixed experience. Butterfly world was definitely the highlight, beautiful butterflies flying around and the admission prices were fair for a family. The driving range was also fun, with reasonable prices for club rentals and a bucket of balls. However, the token-based system needs improvement. We spent 70$ giving us 60 tokens, as a family of four riding single go-karts at 6 tokens each rider we only got to ride them twice. There are no bonus packages that allow bonus tokens for spending more money either, which felt a little disappointing. We also ran into technical issues at the batting cages, where we lost tokens due to the machine not dispensing balls. Staff did provide us with 2 additional tokens, but overall, for the cost and how quickly tokens go, we didn't get to enjoy nearly as much as we expected. With a few changes, like a better value for tokens purchases and more reliable machines this place could easily earn a higher rating.

When I was here at the boardwalk as a child they didn't have the butterflies. Spending the entire afternoon here after going to the zoo quite literally across the road has been an absolutely amazing experience. I mean yes it is not the cheapest place in the world to visit but it is absolutely amazing and it's very fun. We went for a ride on the go-karts and then we did bumper boats as well as bumper cars. We even got to throw water balloons at each other and had some fun with mini golf This place has changed a lot since I was here as a child and it is gotten even better. I mean yes the kids love the games and stuff but my daughter was absolutely in love with the butterflies. She didn't realize exactly what it would entail but it's been a long time since she's actually had that much fun and such a physically small space just doing something simple like holding a slice of orange. I mean she was so happy when she was able to catch a butterfly with a slice of Orange.

It's a great place for little ones. It was not so fun for teenagers. The butterfly activity was OK but we only stayed there for 5 minutes. It was already full by people who had been there before us and who decided to stay there for hours. They kept all the butterflies on their fruit. So we couldn't take any butterflies, we couldn't even sit down for a few minutes. I saw a couple who brought their lunch...seriously? It was very expensive for 6 people and it took us, as I said, 5 minutes. This should be limited and should be done on a guided tour to allow everyone to have the same pleasure. We also did the hill...7$ for that scam. The rest of the "attractions" were ok for us but it's a far cry from La Ronde, Six Flags and Disney. When you visited these places, you will find a boring magnetic hill.
