Hairdressing Salon 3 — Attraction in Montreal

I was a customer of the amazing Tal @ Espace Carte Blanche across the street from this disgraceful Freida of Coiffure 3 but unfortunately he closed and left Canada so I called and made an appointment with Freida, the self proclaimed master colorist and stylist and owner, master of "BS" talk on the phone so I made an appointment with her believing she knew what she was doing. Well, I went for a simple bleach retouch only. It took her 1.5 hours to apply the bleach where is should have taken approximately 15-20 minutes maximum. She was overlapping outside of my roots which compromised my hair and putting me at risk for breakage. When I realized she was doing this at the back I asked her to stop and ONLY do my root, she didn't listen and told me that it was yellow and I insisted again that I wasn't comfortable with her not listening to me and asked her to section my hair because she was flicked the brush with bleach onto the rest of my already dry bleached hair. I had to ask her for a towel and water to remove it. She was reckless and arrogant the whole time bragging about herself all the while I was kindly asking her if she would apply faster because my hair was processing as she took her long rude time. Finally when I checked my own hair having had my hair bleached for many years, I went to have it shampooed and she missed a spot right in the front so she puts her finger in the leftover bleach and smears it on the spot she missed that took her 1.5 hours to complete that I had told her after she applied it to go over and recheck...she arrogantly told me she never misses a spot..and voila..another 15 minutes waiting for a spot to lighten. After the shampoo, I didn't trust her to touch my hair so I dried it myself but before, I combed my hair very gently as usual and I lost handfuls of hair. She told me that it was normal..'normal'???, I've never in 30 years of bleaching my hair have I lost so much hairier was due to the fact that I had bleach on my scalp for 1.5 hours while she applied it and then an additional 45 minutes after while it processed. She had the nerve to ask me to pay 85.00 for applying my bleachbthat I brought to the salon along with the peroxide, my own conditioner, and I dried it myself. She is an inexperienced egoist that I will NEVER return to. No A.C. on a day that was approximately 37 with humidity. Her shop had cheap Wal-Mart shampoos and conditioners she was selling. A very bad experience and if you are reading this and considering going, don't. She is a disgrace. She deserves no stars but 1 shall suffice or I wouldn't be able to give her the review she so...

Freida is a fantastic hair dresser! I found her about a year ago. She's yet to give me a cut that I dislike. I never know what I want but she knows I love my hair short, sweet, stylish! She gets it and knocks it out of the ball park every time. She also realizes I'm not a terribly chatty person and it's okay, it's not weird or awkward. I used to hate going to get my hair done because it was so awkward when I didn't want to talk much but Freida changed this for me....

The best haircut in Montreal by Yaya! Salon 3 is friendly, affordable and has an amazing barber named Yaya, who comes highly recommended!
