My husband and I have been trying different Pizza Restaurants when ever we travel to bitter cities. Now, we have decided to try one in our neighborhood. Pizzaria Melrose has been at its current location for over 10 years. They serve neopolitain style pizza, pasta, salads, and a few desserts. This time, we were 3, so we got to try 3 different pizzas. First, we started with the Cesar salad. The lettuce was crisp. The dressing was plentiful with a lot of grated cheese on top. Four small slices of bacon were decorativly placed on top. It was very good. We then ordered a Classic pizza, a Gigi pizza, and a Three Meat pizza. The undercarriage of the Classic and Gigi were perfectly cooked and held up to lifting and folding in half. The Tree Meat one, however, was wet and had to be eaten with a fork and knife. They will, for next time, if asked, cook it longer so it won't be soggy. The toppings on all 3 pizzas were very good, making them delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the pizza and will go back. The service was great. Parking was easy considering the location. The atmosphere was noisy, but it's expected for the type of restaurant.

Excellent restaurant and wonderful experience. We loved the Caesar salad and the fennel salad. The pizzas are amazing. Delicious thin crust, nice tomato sauce, quality ingredients. We tried the Margherita, Classique and NDG. We loved all three, but if I had to choose, the NDG was my favourite. We also shared the homemade rigatoni with sausage and rapini. Delicious! The Margaritas were amazing and paired beautifully with the salads. 😊 For dessert we had the tiramisu and Nutella pizza. The tiramisu was good, but the Nutella pizza was amazing. It even has crushed hazelnuts on top. The restaurant was busy inside and on the terrace. Even so, the service was very good. Attentive and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This is one great place for an almost thin sliced pizza. Everything screams freshness the veal polpette are so tender the pizza dough is one of the best ive ever eaten let rise for 3 days no sugar added the tomato sauce is perfect and the Charlevoix sausage is a perfect compliment to the sauce. A MUST GO make sure you reserve. 3 people wine drinks 3 pizzas coffee under 190. Alex and Marc serving know their stuff, my table was always cleaned of finished plates, and they were attentive to my needs fantastic.

If you read other reviews this place gets very "generous" stars. Its good, but , really people in Montreal its not the best, or even close, pizza in the City ! The service, in the 3 times I have been there, was very good. Solid waiters and waitresses. The Decor is either your thing or not. The Kitchen in all 3 visits for me, consists of one guy doing everything, Guess what ? It is very sloooooowwwwww . Orders went in at 0635 pm and by 0730pm the pizza still was not on the table. Also as pointed out in other reviews, pricey, actually way overpriced. Its my last visit there ....in Montreal and even in the area, there are simply so many other good choices available with as good or better service, nice ambiance and properly staffed kitchens at better prices with better selection of menu and wines. So 3 stars is very fair especially in Montreal with all the competition. Not saying its bad either but at its price level, yeah, better places around. ( Note to others : If a restaurant truly scores 5 stars on all merits by all means give it, but when the restaurant down the street has a properly staffed kitchen, traditional stone oven, a bartender, a better Menu selection, more competitive prices etc...and you give both 5 stars is it really fair to the owner of the restaurant and staff of the better run restaurant ? You are basically being a Santa Claus and actually giving a green light to understaffing places because they will get 5 stars anyway...don't be naive either, restaurant owners canvas their friends and family to award them 5 stars . This particular restaurant has a Gallery in the back, so you can be sure artists want to keep it open and will be giving 5 stars to boost its standings. If Consumer Reports gave the equivalent of 5 stars to every car on the road or almost then CR would be pretty useless , its not,...

This place was and is absolutely incredible!! I actually wasn’t keen on going at first as I noticed it was just pizza no fries no pasta no ice cream but my bf wanted to go so we went and wow!! Was I pleasantly surprised Originally the owner turned us away for 45mins but then this incredible busboy asked how many we were and told the owner how he can make space for us and within 10mins we were at a table and this busboy went above and beyond. His service was so impressive. The food was also incredible! Portions were generous, and Prices extremely fair. We had such an amazing experience we were trying to figure out when to go back The tiramisu so fluffy The cannoli hard with flavour and the chocolate cake .. wow! Was like fudge The pizza …so good Only thing I didn’t love was the calamari …sauce.. too salty and very strong olive taste but really not a reason to give this place anything but 10/10 Cesar salad was amazing and this croutons .. wow!! Latte was also delicious! We were too busy laughing and eating to take photos but had to come here to write a review as When restaurants are suffering and pockets are tight this place is worth the night out and the wait staff deserve the all the tips This was an Extremely refreshing...
