This store is the unburied corpse of a department store, there is hardly any staff. I roamed around looking for a price scanner to confirm the price of an item to no avail; they have no price scanners or they are well-hidden. I tries at a register and most of them were unmanned. Most of the popular brands have left the store, also. The terrible customer service whether onsite or online. I don´t see why some salespeople are so dismissive, arrogant and surly, particularly male staffers at the men´s section, after all, their jobs depend on whether we customers shop there or not. A few years ago I tried to make a purchase using a gift card and it was as though I was committing a major crime, in a very dismissive way a young salesman with tinted hair said the purchase could not be paid using a gift card and a HBC credit card at the same time, splitting the payment. This guy does not seem to understand that if they provide crappy customer service and people stop shopping there because of that his job will be on the line because they will fire people to reduce operative costs due to the slumping overall sales. I have had similar experiences in other sections, they get annoyed if a return is made or when I have forgot my points card and return with the invoice to have the points added to my card. The online shopping experience is no better, there is no way to track the items and find out when they have been shipped or will be delivered. Some of the stuff they offer is overpriced and and they end up sending it to the 7th floor at 70 % discount sometimes because customers are reluctant to pay for an item that is clearly overpriced, particularly clothes. Quite frankly, the customer service in this store is the best excuse to shop online and avoid dealing with rude and arrogant salespeople.
