I went back by invitation of the manager Jason who was eager to understand the problems that we had and not let them happen anymore. He informed me that the server mentioned in my previous comment no longer worked there and that my complaint hadn't been the first. He also explained some details about the changes in the menu and suggested some options. This time I sat inside and was served by the very knowledgeable and courteous Isabelle (If you really like beer and want to know any detail about the beer options available, their content, process of fermentation, food they harmonize with, you want to talk with Isabelle!) In sum, Jason showed he really cares about customer satisfaction and is working hard to make sure all his staff does the same. From the servers to those working in the kitchen, he has been informing and training his staff to minimize incidents like the one that prompted me to write my first review. I thank him and Isabelle for the wonderful experience and I am happy that 3B Crescent can continue to be one of my go to places for a refreshing beer and a good meal.
It saddens me tremendously to write this review. I used to love this place, but now I've taken two stars from my rating. There have been some strange changes to their menu. For example, the pretzel used to come with 3 different kinds of mustard, now it comes with only one and a really greasy cheddar cheese dip. The beer chaser now has cauliflower (????). Who wants cauliflower with beer??? Besides this, the portions of everything I ask for have gotten smaller. The service, on the terrace at least, has gotten worse. This last time to the point where, even with a lot of empty tables, the server didn't want me to sit at one in the sun because it was to far from the entrance and she was alone on the terrace. I should be able to sit wherever I want to. It's not my fault that someone didn't show up for work. Speaking of empty tables, maybe the things I have talked about here are the reason for so many on a hot, sunny, summer...

I went here after a movie with my fiancee and some friends; we ordered a few appetizers and drinks... that's it.
We started with the drinks as we were all undecided on which appetizers to take. I took an old fashioned.
The server came back with our drinks and we placed our order for the appetizers. Upon receiving the appetizers on the table I had finished my drink so I asked for another old fashioned.
After 5 minutes I still hadn't received my drink... however the server had failed to come back to the table at any point to see if we were good.
10 minutes passed, still no drink. 15 minutes... you get where I'm going.
We had time to finish the appetizers (3 of them) and I still hadn't received the drink.
By this time I flagged down the manager, and I asked him 2 simple questions; Would you consider this to be a busy night? He said no.
So would you say waiting over 20 minutes for a refill of an old fashioned to be expected? again his answer was no.
I said that's what I thought, I wanted to enjoy a drink with the appetizers; but due to the lack in service from the server I could not.
The manager dealt with the situation perfectly. Since we were paying 1 bill for the entire table he graciously removed all the drinks from the bill and we only paid for the 3 appetizers; which was more than enough to compensate for the poor service.
Service aside the food was great, I would return...
Read moreWe made reservations here on a Sunday night at 6:15pm. It started off well as we showed our vaccine passports and got seated. We then placed our order with our waiter. As we were waiting for the food a random old lady who smelled of urine and cigarettes was coming around to every table asking the people eating for money. Each table was cornered by this lady while trying to eat, asking for money for a breast cancer walk. She seemed homeless to us and we were surprised that she got passed the hostess at the front. She really disrupted our meal by badgering us for money at a restaurant! We informed the waiter, who agreed that it was wrong for her to be in the restaurant and said he would inform his supervisor. However, two minutes later she’s pestering NEW people who just sat down. We are very disappointed that management did not do anything to escort this lady out of the restaurant as it left us very uncomfortable. At the end of the meal, we were about to pay and the hostess asks us if we could move to the bar while we waited for the bill as they had to sit more people in our spot. We informed her that we were about to leave and she insisted we still change spots. We did, and three young men took our seats. I am not sure why these guests took priority over us but we were not satisfied at all with the service we received. The only saving grace was the food, which was fair. We don’t think we will be returning to this location...
