Early morning walks in this trail and through the forest are the best part of my day. Variety of trees - birch, pine - tons of ferns, dogwood. Bridges, pond, little creeks. Squirrels, chipmunks, ducks, woodpeckers, dragonflys, frogs, turtles. Some parts paved, some more gravelly, also small paths through the woods. Great for dog walking, stroller walking, bird watching, running… for the runners - you can do a couple loops and get 10k in. Read moreTrail is fine, but the better area is the well laid out forest trails running between the paved Kerwin trail and Bathurst are great for easy 'hiking' or just walking. It is also beautiful for Mountain Biking. The rivers have narrow bike bridge and up near the corner between Greenlane and Bathurst there is a Mountain Bike run with some technical challenges.
