Used to be really good until they did the remold and got new owners/staff. Went there last night. The guy behind the counter hardly spoke to us, had an ear bud in and was talking to someone in thejr language (im not a racist but have some respect, when a customer comes in speak to them and get off the phone. I dont care what nationality you are) i asked the guy to clean the the grill before putting my sub on it etc he ignored me (not surprised) then we get home to eat, ordered 3 subs... 2 white and 1 cheese. The cheese was fresh and soft and grilled.. pretty good except for the fact that it had black specs all over it from not cleaning the grill... the 2 white subs... the Assorted was meh cause the bread seemed overcooked but wasn't horrible.... now onto the pizza on white.. all it had was cheese meat and sauce (how we always get it) put it in the microwave to heat up on 45sec (which is what they do in the sub store) took the sub out and the top was all flaky and then ends were hard... mr sub has been around for YEARS. I've never had issues like this up until the last few years... get your stuff together.. almost 60$ for 3 subs and 2 drinks, and all 3 subs had an issue with them......
Read moreNormally my experience is good at this location, but just last night I had the worst experience I have ever had in the service industry to date. I walk in the store: a customer is already being served, I'm the next one up. Two servers decide to help this one customer and I am there waiting for at least 10 minutes. I start getting served finally, and another customer walks in. As my sub is being garnished, the customer before me asks for some cups so my server leaves me for 2 minutes, while the customer who came in after me is being served by the second server who decided to help more than one customer at a time (new guy as well). That customer is now finished, out the door, and my sub is just topped up. When I voiced my frustrations, both servers were indifferent. When I asked for compensation, the argued against it. How rude. I was calm and collected, and these guys had the audacity to argue and not even acknowledge they're poor service with an apology. There was no management to solve my qualms in a proper business fashion, and so your restaurant will never receive mine again. Get new staff and TRAIN THEM WITH MANAGEMENT...

I had a bad experience when I was younger at another Mr sub in Richmond Hill and haven't been to one since. My wife convinced me to go here and I'm so very happy I did. The store is very clean and neat which is important with a restaurant.
I would like to point out the person behind the counter, the one who made the sandwiches for my wife and I - Jason was his name - was one of the nicest most polite most professional workers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting at a restaurant.
He made us great sandwiches, was very honest when we asked about using a coupon we had and noticed that I was wearing a shirt about a video game I enjoy and he started to talk to me about it. This made me feel at home and so very happy that I came in to Mr sub. I know now where to go whenever I'm looking for healthy/wholesome fast food.
