I love this spot. Not used by alot of the younger crowd which makes it a nice spot for the folks that have known about it since they were kids. Does have a boat launch spot for smaller crafts. It's a Rocky beachfront with stone steps directly in front of the historic building that now adays houses the bathrooms and changing rooms. The stairs into the water could use some work, especially the original ones to the right of the building which are crumbling and have been blocked off by an ugly orange winter fence for 4yrs now. But other wise definately a gorgeous spot for a picnic or quick swim. Not suitable for young children. Great spot for swimming with you loyal fur...

Great place to go for a swim and/or kick your feet up and unwind. Clean and modern change room facilities with lockers. I found the steps leading directly out of the bath house down to multiple tiers by the waters edge a pretty neat concept for a public beach area. There is also plenty of seating and lounging areas as well, which gives it a very relaxed open environment. I did however find the rocks in water alot more slippery and dangerous to walk on than i had anticipated, especially when climbing in and out...

I visited this in the winter. So fair warning. It was minus 15 degrees in the lake was frozen. I walked from Lake Ontario Park to downtown pretty well along the shoreline and out on the frozen lake. If you're looking for an inexpensive afternoon in the winter Karma this seems to be a...

This place is a great spot to relax and take in some of the sights in the city of Kingston . With a view of the lake and a great atmosphere this was defiantly a nice spot to visit .It has a change-room and bathroom just in case you want to due some swimming at your own risk of coarse .

A very nice place to step away from the downtown hustle bustle... The water is accessible but terrain is not plane to get to the water. There are several benches also, facing the beach to enjoy the view. It is nice to look at the windmills on the other side of the water.
