Elegance Sculpting — Attraction in Parksville

The establishment looked nice and clean when I walked in for the brazillion I had booked last minute. I was so grateful to be accommodated as my regular esthetisian was fully booked and I had a weekend at the beach planned. My experience was the worst brazillion I had ever received and I've been getting this service regularly for a year. The girl I had working on me took a full hr and within that hr not only was she the most uncomfortable person to be around, this woman had to go back and re-wax places sometimes three times over for either not pulling the strip quickly enough or not having the wax hot enough. All the while speaking to me about how she had reuined another lady's experience because she had only waxed one other person in her training. When I left, my delicate feminine parts were irritated and residual sticky wax pieces were ever present between my legs in the hot summer heat. It was an absolute nightmare and worst experience I've ever had. I don't know how a professional could be allowed near anyone's body let alone such a sensitive place while being such an amateur. The girls at Elegance are absolutely wonderful and do amazing work. I had my brows microbladed/shaded by Sarah and they are perfect. I am complimented on them constantly, and have even had other professionals from the industry stop me to tell me how great they look and to ask if they are natural (even a year and a half after my last touch up!). I also just started the process of having some tattoos removed, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the technique they use at Elegance works. It was virtually painless and the results after even one treatment were incredible! Before seeing Sarah at Elegance I had tried laser removal and it was very painful and took forever to heal afterwards, and I barely saw a difference. It still blows me away how.much more effective her technique is! On top of their hard work, the ladies themselves are fantastic and are always good for a laugh. Update: I sadly need to lower my rating a titch. I went in for a microneedling appointment and upon paying it was $100 more than I had expected. I went home to check the website and found it was indeed the price I had assumed. I called to clarify and was told prices were adjusted in April. I pointed out the website had not been updated. Prices are not readily displayed anywhere for all services so we do rely on the website. I also gave a lovely 5 star review originally which, on the website, says you will receive a 10% discount. I guess, it is my fault for not asking for it. Anyway. Everyone is so lovely but I am incredibly disappointed my treatment was half again as much as I expected....
