There are many farmer's markets around and so far in Canada, this is the largest, organized and really great farmer's market with outdoor tentages and indoor stalls. Outdoor ones sell fresh produce like fruits and vegetables while the indoor ones sell cheeses, fresh meats, cooked food, coffee etc. When I was here the weather was great and from my observation, most people buy apples here and the apples look really fresh, some customers buy them and the kids eat them on the spot which shows how fresh and nice the apples are. The prices here are definitely higher than supermarkets but the quality of produce you can find here certainly beats those found in the supermarkets. Everything sold here looks like they have been carefully planted, harvested, cut and cleaned. This place is definitely a great place for a family outing with the kids able to interact with the producers and have fun choosing what they like to eat and breathe some fresh air.

Always a fun outing visiting the local farmer's market. Many different types of vendors including produce, crafts/art, meats, cheeses and specialty food products. There is only one ATM there that often has a line-up, and unfortunately the aisles are so narrow inside the building that it can be difficult to get through with all of the traffic. Prices are standard for markets, but make sure to walk around fully before buying as there can be better bargains with certain vendors for the same product. Also, make sure to check for labels on the produce, as not all products are locally grown (a Grown in Mexico tag was found on a bunch of green onions I purchased that the vendor put in my bag from a big bin). The apple cider donuts are always a great treat, but note that there will usually always be a long line-up for these.
