eard online that Justine was a cool speakeasy to check out in Quebec City, and it definitely lives up to that! It's super easy to walk right by it – look for a black door with black curtains inside, because there's hardly any signage. That hidden entrance really sets the speakeasy mood. Inside, the vibe is cool, maybe a bit more hipster than I initially expected, but it's a nice spot with a definite Prohibition-era feel thanks to the decor and dim lighting. It felt like it might be even better for groups of four or more, as it's quite cozy and can get lively. The main thing: the cocktails and beer were really good. If you're looking for that speakeasy experience in Quebec City, Justine is definitely worth a visit. There aren't many places like it around, and it's a fun find.

Last day in Quebec City and we found a gem. We sat at the bar. Ely makes a great drink and is so much fun to chat with. We learned a lot about drink origins. Ely even created a drink for us using my Danish dads favorite liquor, aquavit. I only wish we were in town a few more days, we would spend them here! Google took us to the door but chairs were piled up outside and it didn’t look open. True to a speakeasy, that’s the facade. The windows are covered with black curtains but the door is unlocked. Small place with Great ambiance! We shared the calamari, a vegetable terine dish and the clams, all very good!

Cool cocktail bar with prohibition era-vibes, without overdoing it. So happy to find a spot in Quebec City where you can have a drink while listening to jazz music!! They even have live music from time to time. I hope they stick with this jazzy mood as this fact alone sets them apart from other cocktail bars in the city. The cocktails are delicious and stiff and the food offer is pretty elaborate. I wish there were more options of smaller bites that go down easy with drinks—our only option was olives. I can definitely see myself going back for late-night drinks! (But please offer more finger food options!!)
