Columbia Valley Escape Rooms — Attraction in Radium Hot Springs

Went here for a first time escape room experience with my spouse during a short stay in Radium. It was about a 2 minute drive from Big Horn Meadows Resort, so it was super close and convenient. Staff was incredibly friendly and the Spy room was very well set up and the puzzles were a perfect balance of challenging + fun (we had to get a few hints from staff haha). We booked another room (Witch House) for the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Unfortunately, we misjudged how much longer we would be in Radium for and weren’t able to make it for our scheduled time. Although we cancelled on short notice ~3hrs before the booking and outside of business hours so no one answered the phone, we were still given a full refund no questions asked. We came here on a rainy Saturday night looking for a fun quick thing to do with some spare time. We booked our reservation less than an hour before it started and still got the booking. The employee running the rooms was incredibly helpful and seemed very passionate about what he does. We chose the murder mystery room and had a blast. Although one of the locks in the room malfunctioned at one point causing us to lose some time trying to get it to work, the employee was very apologetic and helped move us on to the next step and gave us extra time at the end to complete the room. There were 8 of us so we splint into two groups and did the same room. The owner was awesome and kept some stats for us so we could have a little competition between groups. We enjoyed the first room so much that we came back two days later to do the second room. Everyone had fun, including my 9-year-old daughter and 67-year-old father-in-law. My only criticism would be that the rooms are pretty tough, but it wouldn't be any fun if they were really easy.
