I recently had the pleasure of dining at Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The lively atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional customer service made for an unforgettable evening.
When I arrived on a Sunday evening, I was immediately drawn to the energetic ambiance. The live band playing in the background added a lively touch to the already bustling pub. The place was packed with patrons, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall experience.
As for the food, I decided to indulge in the pork ribs and nachos. While the initial batch of chips for the nachos arrived slightly burnt, I brought it to the attention of the staff. To my delight, they promptly rectified the situation and brought out a fresh batch of nachos that were absolutely excellent. The chips were perfectly crisp, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. The staff's swift response and willingness to make things right showcased their dedication to customer satisfaction.
The pork ribs were the highlight of my meal. They were cooked to perfection, resulting in tender, succulent meat that practically fell off the bone. The barbecue sauce glaze added a delightful tanginess, complementing the smoky flavors of the ribs beautifully. Each bite was a true delight, and I found myself savoring every mouthful.
Furthermore, I must commend the attentive and friendly staff at Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and made to feel welcome. Their quick resolution of the nachos issue demonstrated their commitment to ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for their customers.
In summary, Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The lively ambiance, courtesy of the live band, contributed to a fun-filled evening. Despite a small hiccup with the initial batch of nachos, the staff's swift response and the subsequent mouthwatering replacement showcased their dedication to customer satisfaction. The pork ribs were tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. With top-notch food, fantastic service, and an engaging atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery to anyone looking for a memorable...
Read moreThis is a great pub right on the main street in Radium - we've been here twice, and both times were an excellent experience.
Most recently, we stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. We were greeted right away and invited to pick our own spot. There are tons of tables and booths to choose from, and the restaurant feels spacious and bright all around.
We both had a caesar to drink (delicious and perfectly spicy, with a pickled bean) and Philly cheesesteaks for lunch (we overheard a waitress recommend those or their homemade burgers).
The food and drinks both arrived very quickly. Every single bite of the cheesesteak was heaven - the flavours were delicious, and the beef was so tender and juicy. It was also thinly shaved, which made it easier to eat! The pretzel bun was also outstanding - super soft and fresh.
I chose a salad as a side, and was super impressed at how fresh the veggies were; the balsamic vinagrette was served on the side and was tangy and flavourful.
My husband chose the soup of the day - cream of mushroom. It was definitely homemade, and had huge slices of mushrooms, with a perfect light creaminess that was not overwhelming.
On our first visit, our group of three all had the daily special - homemade hamburger steaks. They were also outstanding - fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked - served on a piece of garlic toast, with a light and creamy mushroom sauce. I would absolutely order this dish again, too!
10/10 recommend this amazing pub for a fun time with friends, family or on a date! It would even be super comfortable for...
Read moreWanted to go watch soccer game with friends and get some food and drinks. Ended up being harassed by the waitress- she wanted one piece of ID for my drink (in my 28years took it as a compliment at first), so I told her my husband will bring it from the car (he was running late and my IDs were in the car. Ok no problem, he brought my passport, she checked and than said she need 2 pieces of my id... It seemed unnecessary, but alright my husband went back to the car, left the passport there and brought my wallet with my national ID. Then a big problem raised, that the waitress said she needs both of the IDs at once. Even when she already saw the passport with the date of birth (and visible I am old enough). She made me feel reqlly uncomfortable, we ended up to have both IDs at once, she was looking at them very in detail and then finnaly approved that I can drink... She made also some unnecessary comments, when she obviously could see we are married (rings) about how she met her husband while she was underaged...?? Like who cares? But you can't get legally married underaged.... Best part was when I asked if my husband needs to bring his IDs too, she said no, he looks old enough... I swear i don't look 10 years younger than I am. Her behaviour spoiled the mood completely, so we ended up not ordering anything, never going back and went to the opposite brewery, which was awesome. Feel said we didn'ttry any of the food or drinks, but the employer behaviour was...
