My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner on Friday evening as it was our anniversary and we thought it looked like a nice restaurant and had good reviews. We went at about 7 and there wasn’t many people there which was great, first red flag is they said they didn’t have any tables for us so we had to wait a bit ( we understood this as we completely understand how restaurants work ). When we finally got a table, first we ordered a coke and a caesar each. The caesar was the best part of the whole evening, my coke had a bunch of the caesar rimmer floating in it and in my straw. Our server also didn’t seem to be in a great mood and seemed like she had absolutely no interest in serving us or even being there. She had brought water to all 3 tables around us and never brought us any. Next we ordered Guac and chips as an appetizer, and about 10 minutes later we got informed they didn’t have anymore… again we ignored because we understand. Finally we ended up ordering our mains, which was a caesar salad and the shrimp pasta, 3 different times we had someone come up to see if what they had was our meal.. it never was, it didn’t seem like there was much if any communication on table orders. We then had a different server come up and say they had our meal, and tried to give us a caesar salad and shrimp tacos, we said we had gotten the pasta not the tacos and she took it back. About 10 minutes later our server came back with our “ meals “, and again, the caesar salad and shrimp tacos, so we again, told her we got the pasta and not the shrimp tacos. She said she had ordered us the tacos but she would take it back and get the pasta but leave us my salad in the meantime. After she had left my salad she didn’t leave me with any cutlery to even begin eating. Finally my boyfriend’s meal came out and there was absolutely no flavour whatsoever. The manager did come out and comp our caesar’s for the inconvenience but it was still a $70 meal after the $36 comp of the drinks.

Neither one of us are ones to ever leave reviews as we understand mistakes, but this was too many mistakes and little to no communication between the staff. We do hope that this gets noticed so no one else has an experience like ours, after friday we are very very unluckily to be back or recommended to...

Service is incredibly slow despite only having a handful of tables. The excuse provided is that they are new. That's a pretty poor excuse, they're disorganised and bad at their jobs. The manager really needs to whip the kitchen into shape if they want any chance of being successful.

I have actually worked a stint in hospitality before as a Team Lead in the UK, and this is just a poorly managed restaurant. Despite seeing bad reviews, we wanted to give them a shot. Unfortunately, they are just not equipped to run a restaurant.

I counted the number of staff and tables, they have approximately 10 tables of 4 for both indoor and outdoor seating. They are taking an hour+ to get appetizers to the table. This means they have such a low turnover. Each table will spend approximately $100-150 meaning that they aren't even generating good profit.

There are no checks in place, plates came dirty, food quality is poor. For a $16+ salad, the portion is so small, I could whip this up with $3 ingredients and I would not dare charge anyone more than $8. It looked like someone threw all the ingredients onto a plate. Lol. For an 1.5 hour wait, we hoped the food was at least good. You could feed almost anything to starving individuals and they'd find it somewhat decent. Sadly, I could make a similar and much better meal at probably 1/4 the cost and in 30 minutes. Tacos were dripping with oil. Pasta was flavourless. It's a shame. It's a nice venue, if only they could fire everyone in the kitchen and rehire decent staff who could cook.

The two girls waiting our table kept apologising and I felt bad for them because it does suck being FOH and having to deal with the customers when your kitchen is so inept.

For the pricing and quality of food, definitely do not recommend. Shut the whole place down, fire your kitchen staff, reopen with a better kitchen.

Update: I never asked anyone to take any photos. We definitely never asked for anything to be removed, and we actually paid our bill in full. I can even post my statement. Lol. The lack of accountability and inability to take criticism is concerning. I have been to soft openings as well, none as disastrous as this. I think you need to stop treating customers like they're ignorant. Good luck on your business, you're...

As a Radium local it is exciting to get a new place to eat in town.

Finally stopped by here to try it out, they've been open for a couple months now.

It was quite busy when we came here and there was no issue with wait times at all. It seems they have that sorted out now.

For food we had ceviche, shrimp tacos and the goat street burger.

The shrimp tacos were pretty good, maybe could have had a little more in them. They came with nachos and a little thing of aioli, which was delicious, but I used it all on my tacos. I suggested they include a little bit of pico de Gallo for the nachos.

The ceviche was really good. It looks nice with the red onion cut longer, but it's easier to scoop when it is diced. Just another little suggestion.

The burger and fries were both incredibly good. Nice crispy golden fries and the burger with caramelized pineapple just absolutely delicious.

I ate at the previous restaurant at this location numerous times, the amount of work they did on the inside is impressive. Completely transformed the place.

The staff were all super friendly and attentive. I'll be back soon to try more items from the menu. Herman has been my server for two of the times and he is super attentive and genuinely cares that you're satisfied, so shout out to him!

Every drink I have tried is very good as well.

Update: been here two more times this week and have tried a good portion of the menu. Beef tacos are top notch, so much flavour. The corn ribs are great, the tuna tataki is very good. Tuna tostadas are also very good. The pad Thai could be a little more saucy, the chicken was cooked separate and just tasted like grilled chicken. Good but could be better. Fish and chips are great.

I should mention that in a couple pictures, the beef tacos and tuna tataki, I had already eaten some of it before taking...

The renovations done here are beautiful yet simple and modern. We really enjoyed having our supper out on the patio. While earlier reviews mentioned longer wait times, we had absolutely no issue with that. We were promptly greeted by incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who swiftly took our order and served us drinks. The Ceviche came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious! Perhaps easier to scoop if everything was cut a little smaller but nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed it. I think the star of the dinner was the Goat Street Burger and the amaaazing fries! The shrimp tacos were nice but could have had a little more to them. Some pico de gallo or a salsa would really add a lot to that dish (just my thoughts!) The cocktails are unique and delightful and another highlight to this new spot Thank you so much Goat St!! Can't wait to come back for more EDIT: updating to add more photos as we went twice more this week and had a spectacular time. Top picks are Tuna Tataki, Tuna Tostadas, Fish and Chips, the Goat St. Burger and the corn ribs. Honestly, the Pad Thai was okay but missing something. Certainly could have been saucier. We had previously had the shrimp tacos which felt a bit light in the filling and was definitely missing something but the steak tacos last night did not disappoint and were absolutely amazing! We shared the corn ribs as an appetizer and I got the tuna tostadas as a main. You can have it as either 3, 4 or 5 tostadas depending on how hungry you are. The tostadas were delightfully light, delicious and everything I had hoped for. A very special shout out to our server, German, who took great care of us and was incredibly helpful and kind during our last visit.
