I loved the environment of the night life in the farmers market. Much more laid back and the people in general are just happy to be there instead of being around "shoppers". Temperature is much more tolerable and it would have been nicer to see more venues. The only downside I had was the lack of gluten free stands that I had previously seen on the website and the one venue that was all gluten free, Blue Rose Gluten Free, seemed to not know anything about the products they were selling. Including the 3 pizzas they had in the warmer which I asked about and was told "well they are right there". And the soupy brownies that were on display that didn't look edible but still for sale to eat. The one lady working there was very satisfied by sitting on her cooler and not exactly caring if we were interested or not in buying anything even from a website or any avenue they may have had. All in all, it was the best experience though and felt less rushed and able to just enjoy the night...
Read moreSuch a great experience! I have had the opportunity to attend a few farmer's markets in Saskatchewan, and I believe Regina has one of THE BEST farmer's markets. A large variety of products from baked goods to produce to ready to enjoy food, handmade jewelry and clothing items, and so much more! There is also always a food truck or two kicking around. I love that it is set up beside Victoria Park, it's nice to get a few goodies to go sit and enjoy in the sunshine.
