Cuthbert Holmes Park — Attraction in Saanich

Formerly beautiful natural space - that had great hunks whacked out of it by the interchange, and a huge mound of rock debris buried another large area. They planted a few spindly trees on the mound and called it a 'new forest'. The 'invasive Karens' have been defoliating it, and another set of morons threw tons of woody debris into what little was left of the Colquitz River. It's a pathetic shadow of what was once a naturally beautiful place - having been gutted and savaged by the BC NDP and their MOTAT mobsters and local Karen affiliates. You can't even pick blackberries there anymore - as the Corporate Karens want you to import tiny $6 packages of sour Mexican berries rather than feast on sweet natural fruit. It's not that I don't like this place, but its appeal is for locals only. It's a nice stroll, but nothing noteworthy or all the special. Great for dog walks, and jogs. Lovely little park that us great for walks with your dog or friends. Trails are well maintained and clearly marked. Would love it if they could expand it a bit more and replant native trees/plants in the spots were trails were made by people.
