I had enough friends who had thoroughly enjoyed this place bugging me to try it. To be fair, I knew of this place for a very long time being a former Spectrum student and always seeing this place going by. Kinda my fault for always driving by in a hurry and never actually stopping by to check them out.

My bus driver buddy who drives the 22 route urged me to go everytime whenever the both of us go by the place. So I decided to slow from my hectic schedule and dine in.

Um, this is one of those places where you want to implant your caboose into the seat and never leave. I could just sit for hours listening to Sean Paul and Daddy Yankee tracks inside this place and order half a dozen bottles of Ting eating roti. I ordered roast beef, chicken, and pulled pork roti. I had the first 2 on-site and the latter for take out because I had to stop procrastinating and leave in order to go back and continue packing and cleaning before my move out.

The roast beef is hands down my favorite. The chicken I was told was usually the customer favorite; don't get me wrong, it is delicious indeed but I still enjoyed the succulent roast beef more. I drove out of the place when the food comatose hit me hard and I needed to make an emergency landing 🛬... I mean pit stop 🚏 at my parent's place. I gifted away my pull pork roti to my brother and I hit a deep siesta in my mom's pergola. I was out cold for 3 hours.

I tell you; this was how satiated I was with the comfort food. No other meal I had to date puts me into a restful state post. I needed this, I was going through stressful times and this was healing soul food. Other reviewers are not kidding with accolades; try...

We stopped by on a whim and I'm so glad we did! They have Rotis. That's it. Perfect, delicious Roti. I had the vegetable mildly spiced. The soft, perfectly flavoured roti was generously stuffed with fluffy yet creamy potatoes and a cooked greens spread that contained all the spice and the perfect amount of vinegar. I could eat that stuff with a spoon! My partner got the pulled pork but devoured it with nothing more than, "it's so good". Lol He ran a restaurant long enough that he can be impossible to please. He was thrilled, we'll definitely be back. If I had any criticisms it would be that it's not very clean, but it's not the kind of place where I really care about that. Otherwise it would have been nice to have an interesting drink selection, maybe something traditional to drink or something sweet to eat. I noticed they had a cake to order for the holiday season that I bet is fantastic after tasting their food. Check it out and grab a bite! There's a small parking lot with plenty of space so you can easily stay in or just...

As vegans who did not drop by on a Saturday our first samples from the kitchen came as a vegan suitable / vegetarian roti and the filling for a vegan suitable / vegetarian roti in a take away container because I am gluten intolerant.

My partner thorough enjoyed the roti. Not too messy, not spicy and flavourful. I found the filling was indeed quite flavourful, but I thoroughly enjoyed the spinach. I thought it was the highlight of the lunch.

We have yet to make a Saturday Doubles order, but we plan on it.

Other notes: gluten-free accommodations can be made. Call ahead to request rice for your pick up order (for example)

We found this place quite by accident and realized that we aren't too far away, so we have been calling it the neighbourhood roti shop.

There are a few parking spots out front and inside, while waiting for your order, you can learn the inspirational and interesting story of how the owners opened up 🇹🇹...

My 7.5 month old baby was screaming for more goat. We went here for three consecutive days we were in Victoria on vacation. Only 3 because we sadly waited to the end to visit the restaurant. The food was so goooooood. Thursday we tried the chicken and pork roti. Friday we came back to try their goat and buss up shot and reordered the pork roti. Saturday we came back to try their doubles BUT THEY SOLD OUT 😭😭😭 So sad. We got the goat again. If you want to go on Saturday for everything on their menu, go early. They offer different spice levels but some people couldn’t take the medium spicy 😅 I liked the hot spice level on the pork but I just took a while longer to eat it. Jeffrey was warm and welcoming and loved watching our daughter “cussin” for food

This food is the BOMB!! My 2nd time visiting Victoria BC and wanted to branch out and experience some different food options. Was browsing social media a while back and came across a recommendation for Trinidad To D Bone, put it on Save and forgot about it until yesterday when my original food plans were squashed. I’m so glad I went here. Total comfort food and a nostalgia Ting to boot. I got a chicken roti and the kiddo got pulled pork (smoked). Cut both in half and got to experience 2 different flavors. The owner even gave me a recommendation for something similar in Seattle, Pam’s Kitchen in Wallingford. Soon come
