Food ok, but not prepared correctly.
Poor Coaching and customer follow up despite following instruction to try and make it better.
I ordered on the app a couple weeks ago. My order was about $20.00. FOR ONE MEAL. FOR ONE PERSON.
That was fine .
I specifically put no sauce in the app order. And add hot sauce on side, neither were followed correctly.
I get my order, COVERED in sauce, the staff argument they use sauce in cooking process.
My Point was the sauce was added AFTER ( it was dripping )
Probably tripled the sugar content, and with KETO, low carb, healthy in Victoria, we need to do better.
So I emailed them and contacted on facebook, regional manager and store manager contacted me, and store manager said I had to come in and ask for my refund. I said how about a gift card so I can use it when I feel like it, and everyone was in agreement. And considered this closed case, the district / regional manager even called for my address and we had a discussion how this was the correct path and that we are striving to be better etc etc. All of this for nothing. This goes against my code of ethics.
Well 2 weeks later no follow up, no gift card, and being # 1 on trip advisor which I advised them off previously I have no qualms in reporting my story.
I was trying to illustrate that when I ordered the staff did not try to listen to me but instead argue they were correct in making their product.
This review is to help train staff. When a customer states no sauce, it means no sauce added, no sauce to be used during cooking process. This customer does not want any extra sugar.
I have been cordial but should not have to beg or quibble over $20. We are better than that. You staff can be coached. it can change your 3.9* reviewed business to 4.9* in a year. This could double your customer satisfaction and customer retention. We all want to live peacefully. Lets get...

Used to be good and would be cooked to order, and would often go multiple days a week after work for quick protein. Now everything is precooked and often overcooked as they bulk cook and reheat the meat.
I’ve gone in the morning right at open and saw the mixing of cooked and uncooked meat coming from the same bin, I assume the cooked meat from the night before.
I’ve come a lot less to the Tillicum location, despite living within walking distance, and usually make the drive to the Langford location if I want Edo.
The prices have also been jacked up recently and only seemingly to be at this location - I paid a lot less at a different location for the same order a few days ago. Portion of a regular bowl seems to be smaller as well and the double meat does not seem to reflect the original roughly 8oz of meat they used to serve.

The other fellow is more interested in checking his cell phone that was sitting next to the till than taking my order. He ended up getting my order wrong and then blamed me for it. Unreal. If he had given me the time of day he would have heard that I said “on rice” and not brown rice. I didn’t think it was a big deal when I saw that they put brown rice on my plate until the fellow who took my order started berating me for saying “on rice”. He told me I shouldn’t have said anything and if I had read the sign I would see that it comes on rice. I apologized. Sat down to eat my meal and became very angry at the situation.
