Long time customer. Ever since the new owners bought, the prizes have downgraded so hard. The jackpot limits to games have been limited very low too, I remember when the ball drop used to have a max jackpot of 750+ when now it is 200. They also rigged the ball drop machine by pulling the tube that the ball drops out of forwards so it isn't centered under the holes like it used to be, therefor there is not much skill involved left in that game anymore. They also removed the chance to get the white slip connected in your tickets when dispensed that varied from 50-200+ , (Also removed from claw machine) . In the coin pusher machine it used to be 5 tickets per coin that fell and now is 1. Also for the coin pusher, they set the chances for the bonus wheel that spins when you hit lucky to be what seems way too low for how much I have played and witnessed others playing. I have never seen someone hit more than 10 when the max is 100. It has also been a month or two since they have had pixie sticks. The dinosaur coin launching machine has been out of order for ages. I would bet there most expensive prize in the store cost them $10 max, a lot...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Mr. Tubbs. While waiting in line to order ice cream for my son, I was repeatedly skipped over in favor of other customers. Even after politely pointing out that it was my turn, the staff continued to ignore me. When I was finally acknowledged, I asked for a sample of one of the flavors, only to receive a less-than-kind look. Before I could even place my order, the staff moved on to the next person yet again.
The repeated dismissiveness felt deliberate and was frustrating, especially when trying to order for a child. Customer service should be about treating everyone with the same level of respect, kindness and attentiveness, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training for their staff. That said, there is a girl who works in the arcade area and sometimes helps with ice cream, and she is definitely the busiest, and has always been friendly, which is at least one positive takeaway...
Read moreAvoid this place if you are an ethnic visible minority (aka NOT a white family/couple with or without kids). I came here with my partner, lining up on a hot day and the staff completely ignored us! We were the only non-white in that store, at that time, and the employee completely skipped us after serving the family in front of us. We tried calling out to the employee saying "Excuse us" and "hey", but they ignored us, and instead skipped to serving the white couple behind us. The couple behind us didn't even point out that they skipped us. They ignored us, still, and we had never felt so discriminated against before, at a shop, lined up with all white couples/families. We left with no dessert, and opted for the nearby Dairy queen instead.
This shop is not ethnicity friendly, and I advise anyone to NOT go if you fall under a visible...
