Place Fort La Tour is a fascinating historic site located on the waterfront of Saint John. This fort played a key role in early Canadian history, dating back to the 17th century as a trading post and a defensive stronghold during colonial conflicts. The site offers a glimpse into the life and struggles of early settlers and the Mi’kmaq people. Informative panels and guides help bring the history to life.

Small but mighty! Our visit to the fort experience was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the interactive historical account of Françoise-Marie Jacquelin. Highly recommended for anyone interested in history of the area. Lovely views from the fort as well as important Indigenous heritage.

The lady that did the monologue was so good. We really enjoyed the movie and the gentleman guide was very informative. We were pleasantly surprised as this was a chance visit.

What a beautiful and historic soulful harbour! Beautiful people saying hello, sitting on the rocks! One person said, I never seen a person do before! It was closer to the water, healing just to be in that scenery. Thank you! And thank you for saying hello, it's nice to hear a voice that's genuine! Amazing and first relaxing moment I have had since I rolled into; New Brunswick! Keep It Real! 🤗 That was a nice Sat! Might be going back today! Dad I hope you seeing through my eyes...

Great location, beautiful buildings but very little to do with a small family. Very little value for the money spent. Very informative video and the presentation seemed to be just a duplicate of the video. Would love to see some interaction for the kiddos...scavenger hunt, hands on displays, information on how they would have lived, characters dressed up...anything to add some substance to this visit. Lots of opportunity for...
