This Museum is incredibly well thought out and curated. We went today with my parents and 6 year old and she was so engaged. The museum is laid out in a chronological way- beginning of life with fossil discovery, indigenous settlements and ways of life with interactive miniature dioramas. Read moreExcellent museum with 3 floors of interesting exhibits, artifacts, informative interactive displays and a dedicated Archives section. Such rich history in one place. Well worth the entrance fee.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and outdoor patio overlooking Fairy Lake to sit and relax. There’s are also tables and chairs in the basement with a small selection of books to browse through.
Clean washrooms on each floor and comfortable couches scattered throughout the museum which was helpful as we had two seniors in our group. 😄

After seeing all the exhibits we went into the archives where the archivist brought out some of the original deeds for a farm owned by my great great great grandfather so my son could see them and hold a piece of our family history...
