Having observed the work our cities volunteers, municipal workers and contractors have carried out in the park this past while, and , initially I was against such drastic clearing in such a short period of time, thankfully mother nature was helping as well by sending us a mild winter- providing some buffer for the parks full time residents... those winged and four legged ones...those unfortunately that have used the park in the past for a place to sleep or carry out their sad routines are helpless and they need as much help as anyone perhaps we can house them in the local apartment suites with a per diem, I digress, if we all work as hard as the folks did this winter and keep the park to a high standard henceforth we will be rewarded in amazing ways. We really need better community services because this seems to be one of the only places people go when they're down on their luck. Today I called an ambulance for a man I found in the park who had overdosed... I don't feel safe letting my son play here anymore, and I worry about what kind of opportunities there will be for him...
