I usually like this Tim Hortons.I have met some very great staff members there. Also I live at the end of IDA street and I been going in there for 5 year's and I bring my dog with me he's well Behaved as he is Leashed and by my side I just go in for a coffee and leave never try in sit down I have had staff say your dog is beautiful or even Give him plan a Tim bit.But today for some reason this very Ignorant young lady said oh is your dog a service dog well I said yes because he is to me for my mental health so he Continue to ask what I wanted I Said a large Double double please she rang it up then as I payed she didn't make my coffee right away but went around to all the staff asking and makeing a big deal about my dog to be honest 2 of them have seen my dog in and out of there for a couple year's and I could tell they were like so what he's just getting a coffee and leaving type vide even the Manager came out and just served me and I was like is my dog aloud in her he said it has to be a Service dog so I have never heard of that before I honestly believe he was just takeing her side to claim her down and maybe it is a rule I 100% don't know but all I know is I take my dog in all the store's around my area and Noone has ever given me a problem I understand a grocery store witch I would never take him in there but just to be in and out of a small Tom Horton's witch I been going to for 5 year's and be treated like that thos morning was horrible all because she may not like white men or dogs or was just in a bad mood so with that said today was horrible but most of the time all there staff are great to me so 🤷♂️ not sure why today was such I big deal I could understand if someone was Complaining of being scared or my dog was Misbehaving but to just be very close to me and quite as he is a friendly dog it was just horrible to have that happen was all especially after 5 years. I'm assuming it's staff advisory as in if they say something then I guess he's not aloud but 99% of the time I have never had a problem anywhere unless it's a rule and most people just never say anything if so then my bad but other then that my dog is like my son just enjoy takeing him with me to get out as he enjoys it and that's pretty much all I got to say I will still go there as I live close but this morning was just not...
Read moreAnother disappointing visit at this Tim Hortons (July 8) - the staff are ALWAYS RUDE here, I don't complain about bad customer service only if staff are rude and disrespectful, over the last 5 years this is probably the 10th rude incident and I am finally making a complaint: I stopped in for a quick coffee as the only customer inside. The barista didn’t greet me—she walked away to the opposite till, so I followed. Then she returned to the first till and muttered, “I can take your order here,” in an annoyed tone.
When I asked why I was made to move, she raised her voice and said she was talking to the drive-thru and “can’t speak to two people at once.” Two other team members stood by and did nothing. I asked how to make a complaint—they refused to tell me and wouldn’t provide her name or a way to identify her (even an employee number would have sufficed).
I’ve worked in front-line service for years and now work in HR. I know what a busy shift looks like. But basic courtesy isn’t optional. This wasn’t a one-off—it’s part of a pattern at this location. Today’s open rudeness was the last straw.
To management: In-store guests deserve a greeting and a respectful tone—even during drive-thru calls. Until service improves, I’ll be taking my walks (and my coffee...
Read moreELI, YOU'RE AMAZING! I have a recent back injury so have been ordering off the tims app for my daily Timmies ( it's an addiction lol) anyhow, today... they sent me a coffee instead of a steep tea... I get that mistakes happen, so I called in politely about the issue. I spoke to a very nice young man over the phone who said that I could come and get a free one and when I explained that I ordered due to a back issue and I couldn't drive, he took it apon himself to fix it and bring me another one. Here I assumed that I was talking to a manager. Then my mom tells me that the young man showed up ON HIS BIKE to deliver me my tea. I called the store again and actually spoke to the manager and found out that he is new and did not know the process and the manager told him that he did not have to do that, but he still decided to take it apon himself ON A BIKE, to bring me a tea... this young man went ABOVE AND BEYOND. And I just wanted him to be acknowledged for his great deed. There are not many people in the world like you, if there were... this world would be a better place. So thank you ELI... you restored my faith in humanity. And I hope you get all good things that are coming to you! Somebody give this man a raise...
