Read moreBeautiful lakeside park at the bottom of Coxwell Ave and Lakeshore, great hiking and cycling along the Ashbridge's Bay path. It connects to the wooden boardwalk (first constructed in the early 1900s) heading east, past charming old beachfront homes, Kew Gardens and even a beach lighthouse, as far as the beautiful restored Art Deco building, the Harris Water Filtration plant (worth the visit). There is quick street access anywhere along the boardwalk for a 5 minute walk up to Queen St E for its many little stores and restaurants. HOUR) Or pay out of whack prices each additional half hour. I hope they quickly go bankrupt like the last company. Also- Fill your tummy a five minute walk away on Queen Street or be prepared to pay a ton more CANADIAN DOLLARS for a slice of Pizza. $5+ not $2.99 at the Donald D. Summerville pool steps away from the waters edge. Literally five minutes up the road WALKING to Queen/Woodbine to a Pizza...
