Hey there! If you're in Toronto and want a rad spot for your skateboard or scooter, you've gotta swing by Ashbridges Bay Skatepark, also known as the Beaches Skateboard Park. It's the largest skate park in Toronto, right near Woodbine Beach and the Beaches Neighbourhood. Ever seen skateboarders catching the sunset at Ashbridges Bay? The park's a whopping 25,000 square feet and it's just across from the bustling Woodbine Beach. Whether you're into skateboarding or scootering, there's a spot for you. So, grab your gear and come on down for a fun ride near the Beaches neighbourhood in Toronto. See you there!

Where do we start with this park. Ledges, rails, banks, gaps, stairs, and LIGHTS! This park is great for every skateboarder. There is a gradual I crease of difficulty which makes this park great for learning how to skate the many street obstacles. The concrete is smooth and the park is well maintained and taken care of. It’s in a safe area located close to a soccer field, basketball court and baseball diamonds. Oh and I forgot to mention there is even a bowl. There’s even a beach near by. Go skate and then hit up Woodbine Beach it’s just a short walk up the street. Definitely a park your want to check out if your in Toronto!

Even though I don’t skate, I really enjoyed visiting this skatepark. It's tucked between the Ashbridges Bay treatment plant and the beach, and it’s a great use of public space built by the City of Toronto. The park is full of energy, and it’s awesome to see kids and teens hanging out, skating, and having fun. It looks like camp or kids can hone their skateboard skills. Tons of graffiti gives it a gritty charm, and the layout seems to have something for all skill levels. Worth a stop even just to walk through and soak in the vibe.

Fantastic skatepark. Especially with the addition of the 2nd phase (a gnarly, Southern California, swimming pool style bowl) completed in 2013 I believe.

This is where the pros come to put on a demo when their teams roll through Toronto. A park of this size and style was desperately needed in Toronto.

You’ve got all the basics of a good skatepark and then some. Just to name a few: 5 stair, 7 stair and 11 stair (all with hubbas and handrails), commerce plaza replica manny pad, a frame, wallrides, flat ledge across small gap, double set with rainbow hubba and square rail, bank to ledges, J ramp, etc.

Beautiful skatepark in a beautiful area. Nice breeze off Lake Ontario. You can’t go wrong with a trip to ASH B.

One of the only cons is the lack of...

I love it and so do my kids. I can’t get much done but the energy is amazing. Different things for different people. And a good shaded place for those like me who want to watch from the sidelines not hoping to break a bone so I can still raise my 4 kids.

As for them they do as much as hey want and love to stay there for at least an hour before I start crying like a baby saying can we go now.

The air is always fresh due to the woodbine beach nearby.

Large crowd of people flock to this place and you can see different cultures as well as rides used for stunts.

I bring my kids for inspiration and they certainly get a dose of it. And we come back again n...
