I love this beach. It has something for everyone, whether you want to enjoy the sun and the waves or relax in the shade and watch the world go by. This beach offers a variety of spots to suit your mood.

On the north side of the boardwalk, you can find many mature trees that create vast areas of shade. They are perfect for keeping you cool and comfortable on a hot day. On the south side of the boardwalk, closer to the water, you can experience the warmth and brightness of the sand. There is plenty of space to spread out and soak up some rays. Even on this side, you can still find some clumps of trees and shrubs near the water’s edge, where you can take a break from the sun and enjoy some privacy.

When you get hungry or thirsty, you can choose from a range of options on the boardwalk. There are restaurants and food trucks that serve delicious food and drinks. Sometimes, in the evening, there is live entertainment on the boardwalk, or street performers that showcase their talents. Such an amazing place! Came here with my family as Scarborough Bluffs parking was full, and was genuinely surprised.

The beach is good and not too crowded (compared to other popular beaches nearby). It has a relaxed vibe and we ended up playing on the sand for a bit. You'll also find a couple of volleyball nets, a cute little icecream shop called Beaches and Cream (must try!) and a van renting out SUPs, canoes and kayaks. There is a boardwalk to walk on, and a cycle path. The sunset here is also quite pretty.
