I have been taking Norvasc for many years and it always comes sealed. And I have been using Finch and Midland pharmacy for many years and the container comes sealed because the company that makes the drug, gives it for free. I don’t have to pay for it and some other ones. I went to the pharmacy and picked up my prescriptions and the Norvasc sealed has been tampered with. I called the pharmacy for an explanation, I was put through to someone who said he is the person in charge of the pharmacy. I explained to him that the Norvasc medication has never been opened, and this one is. I told him that I always get a sealed container even thought the prescriptions said 90 pills. I tried to explained to this gentleman that it always come sealed. And that is the way I always got it. He refused to listen to me and hanged up the phone on me. I went to the pharmacy in person and he refused to see me. He have me waiting for a long period of time. I told the assistant at the front, that I will not leave until he speak to me. After waiting for about 15 minutes or more, he reluctantly came to speak to me. He was very sarcastic and ask me if I want him to give me 10 pills. He could not understand that the reason I was complaining is that the container has been tampered with. He refused to take the medication back. He was very rude and disrespectful. I asked for his name he said it was Burton. Burton what? Reluctantly, He said Chan. Honestly, I don’t know if that’s his real name. I will not be using this Finch and Midland pharmacy again due to this man. I spoke to my Insurance Company and they told me he should take back the medication if it’s tampered with but they hands are tied. That should not be the case. I will get to the head of this complaint because this pharmacy is opening the medication, selling 10 when it’s already free for me. The sad thing is that Pharmacy and Finch have some good pharmacies who are knowledgeable and professional, but it’s a shame I have to change my pharmacy because of this Burton Chan.
