Stephenson Park — Attraction in Toronto

Nice neighbourhood park/parkette. Baseball diamond, kids play area with modern climbing stuff & swings, popular on-leash dog walking. Fire pit (booking required) & splash pad (when supervised). Tidy pickle ball/road hockey paved pad with fencing for boards and nets. Cool concrete ping-pong table. It's the place where you meet the people in the neighborhood (esp. with dogs); a pretty ideal community spot. Locals play casual soccer & Frisbee on weekends. Park Yoga under the trees (advertised on park Facebook Page - "Friends of Stephenson Park"). (Quite) small hill off Westlake for tobogganing. No public washroom. Public electric car charger in SW corner (@ Oakcrest). Long fence on south side faces the GO train tracks and has shady trees. Nice park in the daytime, there is a small ice skating rink with some nets made from piping and fence. A proper jungle gym with a splash pad, I looked at the water it looked pretty murky. There are attendants here so I hope that water gets treated, I wouldn't recommend this as a off-leash dog park if that's what you're after you can find one close to Victoria Park Station.
