The park has lots of nice amenities for kids such as a decent splash pad, some community toys which are left in the park, many swings, a sand area, a small playground, and lots of open grass area. There is a decent amount of shaded area to place a blanket. There is even a water fountain and a portable washroom in the park. There is some street parking available around the park but no dedicated parking lot. The only downside is that half of the park doubles as an off leash dog park during certain hours.
