This playground is a hit for dog owners with very energetic dogs. The base of the hill gets pretty muddy during the melting season, but otherwise is great. Wish it was a dog park 24/7 but the kids like the playground too. The hill is also good for tobogganning during the winter - but watch out for the dogs please!

The park has lots of nice amenities for kids such as a decent splash pad, some community toys which are left in the park, many swings, a sand area, a small playground, and lots of open grass area. There is a decent amount of shaded area to place a blanket. There is even a water fountain and a portable washroom in the park. There is some street parking available around the park but no dedicated parking lot. The only downside is that half of the park doubles as an off leash dog park during certain hours. The off leash area is not fenced and some dog owners seem to disregard the allowed off...

The people really make this place! Nice neighborhood with a very family feel. Though sadly its not as dog friendly as it used to be, so a large portion of the population i.e. people without children but w dogs are not as welcomed. I don't understand why the city and parents of little humans refuse to fence in the play area so that childless couples with dogs can also enjoy the park. Particularly since we all pay taxes to use the space. The sense of entitlement in this city/...

Pros: Great space, kept relatively safe with somewhat frequent security visits from Toronto's finest. For the most part dog owners obey the rules and clean up. Kids tend to be respectful, it's just a good park. Cons: Equipment is a little old, drainage is a mess and a fair bit of prime land has been off limits while weeping tile is put in. Still,...
