Golden Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

Don’t walk in here laughing or they’ll tell you you’re too drunk to be served. I actually wanted to grab some food with my husband. The lady behind the bar was very rude and didn’t even speak to me before asking me how drunk I was? I’m a loud person and I laugh a lot. Apparently she didn’t like the fact that another female was walking in I guess. I use to come here a lot when it was under the other owners, but if this is how they treat their customers now I won’t be back.

Let me give you a tip, maybe have two words with someone before deciding they are too drunk to eat your food. Also, everyone in your “restaurant” was drunk as hell. Maybe you should have cut off the guy smoking in your front door screaming at his friend. That should have been my first clue to get the hell out, but again, it use to be a nice place with great food. Too bad I couldn’t try it again!

Golden Pizza was my favourite place to go for the longest time. I always took my son there to celebrate his birthday and we always had our special table. I had not been there in about 3 years now due to the covid. I knew the business was sold. It was ran by Greek people for many years and the food was excellent. I recently returned there on sunday the 3rd of April 2022 and was very disappointed. There are only two items that are served which are burgers and french fries-no pizza, no salads etc. The waitress explained that they did not have any cooks. The burgers were not homemade and the food was served on paper plates. It has turned into a local bar. I shall not be returning to Golden Pizza and I was very disappointed. I always order on skip the dishes and the pizza sub is very good. Only problem I've had is that I ask for light sauce everytime and receive regular amount or even extra sauce such as last time, I couldn't even eat it due to so much sauce. Whoever is taking the orders either isn't looking at the special instructions or they just dont care. Very disappointing because otherwise it would probably be the best pizza sub i've ever had. But the amount of sauce just ruined it for me :(.
