Feb.2019. Temp:-1c If you like my rambling, a thumbs up makes me smile. And don't forget to share, your friends may not be aware of this lovely park, and please leave the phone at home and enjoy the kids. July 1970. Temp. 28c. As a kid, I worked at Sunnybrook hospital, and used to bike to the creek, or walk.it's just the best in all of Toronto.bring a good book. Feb.2019.Temp.-5c Toronto police horse barn located in the park, And at the very end of the park is one of Toronto best kept secrets. what is it? An MCC speck, cricket pitch, where international games are played. Ok, so you never heard of cricket? Shame on you, something like baseball, but really slow, like watching grass grow, shhhh, don't tell the Indians, or Pakistani.

Great for picnic and always watch for cars crawling thru, Keep an eye on the little ones, they like water, and we don't call it wilket creek for nothing, and please clean up after yourself, This is Toronto the clean, or is it Toronto the good? .. And please don't bring your lovely dog, they poop where barefoot children play. This is the place where everyone stretches out on the grass.

You know what? Order some Indian food and some Chinese food and pack a big bag, don't forget the drinks, and by the way, if Dougie Ford has his way you will be able to have a beer in the park shortly, not a 24 pack dude, just one can for you, and remember, let the missus drive, Drink responsibly, enjoy the family, enjoy the park, enjoy the summer, as we say, summer is 3 months of bad...

Wilket Creek Park is a beautiful place always busy with people you’ll see jogging, hiking, running, walking their dogs riding their bikes, cleaning this park and just about anything that suggests RELAXATION GALORE! The park is just perfect to visit any season of the year especially in the Spring when the leaves on the trees are just starting to show, oh what a promise given to US by Mother Nature. In Summer months, parking is a little difficult to find in this over 40 hectares combined parks because Torontonians just loved to gather and do their barbecuing and family gatherings here, celebrating birthdays on the park and also wedding pictures being held at the park, busy eh? Yes, everybody loves this because it’s accessible by public transportations from Eglinton and Leslie streets and once you enter this park, you can follow the paved paths to different other trails like directly to Edward Gardens, E. T. Seaton Park all the way to Brickworks and straight to Bayview St and all the way to Lakeshore… so many trails interconnected, LET’S GO EXPLORE! Oh by the way, there’s also washrooms and drinking...
