Staff are incompetent- they haven't even been trained to maybe take 1 minute to seat people instead of serving the entire restaurant their meals first leaving a long que at the door. Take out is usually ready an hour after pick up time. They are the only fast food restaurant that can't prepare take out ontime.
Always seat myself. I have seen others doing this as well. No point in the welcome kiosk if tgere is no one ever standing in it ready to seat people.
One particular server is a complete dummy. She always serves us. This poor guest was yelled at by 3 men, 1 actually getting in her face. She had to ask the guy 3 times to back off - her dummy server did nothing! Then she blamed this poor innocent girl saying she deserved it kinda?!?
Won't be back - especially if dummies like that continue to work and manage the place. Will spend my time and money elsewhere
Also, for swiss chalet - I will save you the time, and copy and paste your standard - don't give a ** response for you: Hi M. We would love to connect with you. Please fill out the feedback form and use reference xxxx. Done! Did your job once again!
Additional note: I have been going through the reviews and most 5 star reviews are fake. One actually looked like one staff member was actually commenting as if they were a guest and giving positive feedback about another..so pathetic! The company is actually paying for fake reviews and staff are helping them. First off: if you go through the bad ones it is all about bad wait, poor service, bad food. Never once has service ever been good and even if it wasn't horrible, it wouldn't be worth to even rate and defintaley not good enough to get a staff member's name - Swiss Chalet is just not that kind of place to stand out, with the exception of all of there bad points. Further, why does the Swiss Chalet (owner) bother asking people for further details about their horrible experiences and not doing anything about it? Its the same issues for YEARS. A review from a year ago mentions someone had to seat themselves. Fake 5 star reviews from company...pathetic...
Read moreOn Tuesday April 16th 2024, we celebrated my daughters birthday at Swiss Chalet, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! With a group of 20 guests and no reservation, I was initially worried about the chaos we might encounter. However, from the moment we stepped in, the experience was nothing short of spectacular.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food - it was simply amazing! From the succulent rotisserie chicken to the mouthwatering fish and chips, every dish was bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive; crispy fries, and fresh Caesar salads left everyone's taste buds dancing with delight. Plus, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring that even the heartiest appetites were satisfied.
Now, onto the atmosphere - it was warm, inviting, and perfect for a birthday celebration. Despite our large group, the restaurant managed to accommodate us comfortably, creating a cozy ambiance that added to the joyous occasion. The rustic decor and dim lighting created an wholesome settibg, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company without feeling crowded or rushed.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the stellar service we received. The staff at Swiss Chalet went above and beyond to ensure that our birthday bash went off without a hitch. From promptly seating us to catering to our every need with a smile, their professionalism and attentiveness truly made the experience memorable.
In conclusion, my daughters birthday celebration at Swiss Chalet was nothing short of extraordinary. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service - what more could you ask for? Whether you're planning a special occasion or simply craving some mouthwatering rotisserie chicken, I highly recommend Swiss Chalet for an unforgettable dining experience.
Cheers to many more birthdays celebrated in style at this wonderful...
Read moreThe place just reopened last fall and we got take out at that time. When we got home we were kind of surprised as to how small the meal was but we figured it was just since it was new it was a learning curve for them . Dining in the other day was a bit of a shock. Seems only 2 waitresses and a manager working that night so service was a bit slow. My wife and I each ordered a quarter chicken white and when it came to the table we were mildly shocked. It looked like they brought a little budgie bird on the plate. We just kind of sat there staring at it and chuckled between us when the guy at the booth next to us leaned over and said it's been a while since you've been to Swiss Chalet hasn't it? Still what looks to be the regular amount of fries. This shrinkflation thing is getting out of control. Price went way up size went way down and you're basically getting ripped off. We've been to other places and had similar dinners recently and Swiss Chalet is nowhere near worth it anymore. I think many other people have come to the same realization because the place is nowhere near as busy as it used to be and we went at dinner time and there was still seats available. I guess by cutting down on the size and increasing prices they're going to save money and make money but in the long run they don't realize they are actually losing customers. There is many other choices around where you don't feel like you just got to slap in the face. I have talked to a couple of neighbors and they've said the same thing they will never be back and one of the people I spoke to was pretty much a regular there before it...
