Found out about this brand new location when I was looking to visit the Oomomo nearby. I've been to the location downtown, and I frequent the Kennedy Commons location, both of which are smaller and have trouble with parking, and was always busy, so was looking forward to this location which has access to a bigger parking lot. The food was delicious (I always get the pork shoyu ramen, and the quality is similarly good as other locations), and the place itself seemed bigger and brighter. However, I hope the customer service improves. It was hard to catch the eye of the waiters (of which there were several!) even though the place wasn't even busy (the other locations would always have a line up during lunch and dinner rush)! They don't know how to multi-task and serve several tables at a time. Had to wait to get our orders in. And then the wait for our bill to pay for our food took just as long as when we sat down to order and eat. Our original server disappeared. Asked a different server for the bill, but they didn't return with it. Then our original server appeared, and even then, we still had to wait for the bill, I felt like I could just stand up and leave without paying. It took that long! The reason itâs taken me over a month to write this review is, frankly, because the experience was so underwhelming that it slipped my mind entirelyâI didnât take any food photos, nor did I feel compelled to write about it right after. It was only when I happened to pull the receipt out of my pocket recently that I realized Iâd never gotten around to the review. To be fair, the pricing on the receipt reminded me that the dishes were reasonably priced and seemed like good value. However, flavor-wise, everything was just... average. Portion sizes also felt a bit smallâespecially when compared to what weâre used to at Ajisen Ramen in Markham, which we've visited multiple times. We ordered the Cozy Kinton Combo and Pork Donburi. I have a vague recollection of the combo, but I honestly canât remember anything about the donburiâwhich says a lot in itself. Maybe we just didnât order the right items, and another visit with different choices might offer a better impression.    Read moreI'm not that hungry but I craved some hot Ramen; after eating my Ramen, the server brought me the receipt and machine; i felt like she wanted me to kick out ASAP! I told her I haven't ask for bill yet, she replied it's okay, incase became busy, then she walked away; I continue zipping fuzz tea; then another girl came and grabbed the machine saying thank you then walked away fast; then I said with mellow loud vouce coz she was far; i told haven't pay yet! I was planning to order takeout, I felt like these two servers wanted me to get out! They didn't ask, if there still anything I need and never even waited, till I asked the bill. They need to get a proper etiquette training for good customer service! It's my third times already but very disappointed with severs action! Didn't even ask how will I pay..lol..she was so sorry, when I told her I never ask for the bill coz i want to order takeout. I told her wait for the customer when they ask for bill and don't just walking away and left the machine; but I decided to pay cash...
