My dear beloved Dragon Ball, it’s been two years since you left, and I find myself still struggling to understand why. I reminisce daily about the countless afternoons spent waiting in line for your perfect blend of tea and tapioca pearls. Your bubble tea brought an unparalleled joy to my life, and I cherished every moment we spent together. But one day, without any warning or explanation, you were gone. If there was something I did, or didn't do, that drove you away, please know that I am truly sorry. I wish I could turn back time and fix whatever mistakes I might have made. Perhaps I didn't visit as often as I should have, or maybe I took your presence for granted. Whatever the reason, I find myself longing for your return and for the happiness you once brought into my life. The sign posted on your door today still says you’ll reopen in September 2022. Perhaps that month will finally come one day :(

It's been a while since I've been to one of my favorite BBT places. I thought they had more fresh fruit flavors, but they apparently have tons of powdered ones and less then 10 fresh ones. However, it's still one of my favorite places if not the only place I get pearls (one of the best in town). The prices are fair as the powdered BBT is advertised as $4, but I'm not too sure what the Fresh is advertised as is as it has no price on them; I think there all around $5, $0.50 for add-ons like pearls, coconut jelly, grass jelly and $1 for aloe cubes and mango star jelly. The pearls have a nice sweetness to them and the best chewy texture I've ever found for pearls. I ordered the Jack fruit powder, the fresh avocado slush and the fresh watermelon slush, the Jack fruit powder had a nice subtle flavor to it. The fresh avocado had a very light flavor, I thought it'd be more creamy especially with the added milk, but it was very lightly flavored. Finally, the watermelon was nice and refreshing, not as refreshing as straight up watermelon juice since it had added sugar with the pearls and the sugar, but just as nice. They also carry food here all priced under $10. Overall, I'd definitely be back to this place. Just make sure that you have cash as that's all they accept. Also make note that since they are usually always busy it may take around 15 to 20 minutes before you may actually...

I do not understand why this place has such high reviews. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink. Cash only, and the service is horrible. The cashier (owner?) doesn’t even make eye contact, and continues to stare at what I assume to be her phone beneath the counter. I tell her my order, she takes my money, and barks at me to go outside to wait for my drink (totally fine since it’s due to social distancing measures) - all this is done without looking at me even once.

My drink order: Supreme Milk Tea ($7)

Soggy pearls. I’ll start with that, since it was super disappointing. It’s not “soft and chewy” like what the other reviews say. To me, it’s way over cooked and soggy/mushy, and were hands downs the worst pearls I’ve ever had.

The drink flavour itself tasted very bland. Slightly powder/milky based water. For $7, I was very disappointed and drank 2 sips before throwing the...
