Our visit to Fly Over Canada yesterday was all we expected it to be, & then some ! The whole experience was extremely well orchestrated, and the staff was perfectly trained for a smooth operation, as well as keeping politeness and a welcoming friendliness topmost in their mind ! ( well-done PR training department! ) From the ticket sales online, to the signage, the Time Checker, to the ticket scanner...to the 9 rows of dots-on-the-floor...the whole operation was a model of efficiency. Good job. As a born-in-Vancouver resident of the most-beautiful-city-in-the-world, I was pleased with the opening presentation in the surround-room...envisioning the effect on all the Out-of-Towners around me. Again, kudos for covering so much of what Canada is collectively about, while “acclimatizing” the body and mind to rapid-fire images and sensations of motion...in preparation for the Final Event about to bombard the senses. The suspense is building, but with the young “guides” always instilling a feel of comfort and friendliness...( so very typically “Canadian “ ) Having thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of the “Ride-Again-for 50%” offer, I can’t stress enough, how much more enjoyable the experience is after READING the SOUVENIR GUIDE !!! We actually understood WHERE we were looking at...the horses were NOT panicking from the swooping helicopter...the 3 incidents of MIST on our glasses were “on-purpose” and added so much to the “real” experience...appreciating re-takes for the river kayakers, & having inside info on the crew being the Hockey team...all these made the already-awesome experience even more so. Best $5 we’ve ever added, To what was already a reasonable price to pay for such amazing technology. Well...

Slightly traumatized after our experience. Bought tickets online, after measuring all three of my children at home. My 3 year old daughter was the 40” with her boots on. We drive 1.5 hours into the city, pay for parking, walk in the rain, climb the stairs, get in line for the flight. The employees want my kids to stand under a measuring stick that’s a bear. Two oldest go ahead. Youngest who is three years old is a little apprehensive about the setup begins to meltdown. Two employees, that obviously have no experience with young children, come over and try to talk to my daughter to get her to stand by the measuring stick. I tell them I’ve pre-measured all of my kids at home to avoid a potential problem here. My daughter is screaming at this point and running away because she’s uncomfortable and clearly confused about what’s being asked of her. I ask for a supervisor hoping they can see the situation or have more experience with children. She comes out and same thing, cold and firm with her. Not helpful. They said if she doesn’t calm down she can’t go in. I told them their employees and this situation is making her not calm. They didn’t provide a soft measuring tape option which would have worked well to measure her while my husband was holding her. They also said they need to see for themselves, which was never said on any form when I purchased the tickets. Wouldn’t have risked it with my three-nager knowing she’s not a fan of strangers or creepy measuring sticks. My husband ended up not going on the flight with my daughter. I went in with my two sons and they didn’t provide us with the souvenir photo. We did get a refund for those two tickets. Family day out and...

Overall was a good experience, amazing show and use of technology. Although they are very professional as seen they have followed all the major protocols and Safety points. Firstly they will give you brief about the experience that you going to have plus some safety tips along with some interesting facts and knowledge about the Canada, British Columbia and the Northan geography and nature. Then, they walked you through a corridor in which we have seen amazing decoration of Christmas them (as it was the Christmas time ) and before going to sit on your final sit they gathered you at the certain point in order to make you in a bunch or together to have more fun, accordingly they assigned you the seats and then you good to go. But, there are some negatives points to be considered like the first one is the waiting period was too long. And the second is the duration of the show is tiny. It has to be longer than it is. Imagine, people are coming from Abbotsford or Langley to see this show in Vancouver and they spend around 3hrs in one way commute and then they got only 17 to 18mins enjoyment. Does it sound good? Not at all right, so the point is either they should increase the time limit means the duration of this show or decrease the price on tickets.

Tips:- always book your ticket prior to visit as in person tickets are quite expensive.

Reach before your time as usually it takes time to onboard you.

Make as much as memory those will stay longer with you which I missed.

Try to go with your nears and dears that is good for you to remember this experience later in your life.

Thanks Like it if...

We didn't buy tickets in advance and chose to do the Dual Ride. When the "ride" starts, you're brought into a room.where a 7 minute video plays, in theory introducing you to the real event. Rockies: it was interesting to watch, had a story. Canada: Pointless. The video was confusing, and gave no indication or good feeling about the ride to come. Once the videow as done you go through an area to get lined up, and it seems they have three "levels" to the same ride, assumed to be stacked one above each other holding maybe 15-25 per row? Unsure exactly but they line you up in 3 rows per level of the ride. Once we went through the saftey video and seated, it was a a mix experience depending the show. Rockies: Amazing. The room goes dark as the ride pushed you out toward the screens for the full immersiveness, and same when retracting you back in, so the entire video time is pure soaring through the skies. Amazing and loved it so much. Canada: it was interesting and still aweing to flyover so much land and landscapes, but the ride retracted before the screen went dark which pulled you out id the experience rather rapidly. Cons. It's really expensive for what ends up being maybe a 10 minute RIDE. At least half the time is the pre show and lining up etc. $129 for two people to ride the dual ride (2 shows for discounted price) ... and while the ride was amazing overall, it is not worth that cost for a 7-10 minute actual show.
