I used them to redeem my travel points through RBC. I didn't have enough points for my wife and I so I payed the balance on the rest. They split the points between two flights when they didn't have to so that they could cash in on a points redeeming charge, which unfortunately I only noticed applied to each flight after the transaction. I felt misled to make a quick buck. When I pointed out it could have been points on 1 flight only the shrugged it off with the transaction is already complete.
