Absolutely amazing in both food and services. We had one of their Mazesoba and a rice Don. Food: They were both really good. Mazesoba had a distinct flavour to it that I was looking for. The combination of ingredients they put on the rice Don was perfect. I tried eating them separately in the beginning and thought it was mediocre, but when I mixed them, the flavours started to make sense. The ground pork was too salty, but when you mix with the egg yolk and avocado, it ended up being just right. Then I wrap the mixture in the seaweed like a seaweed rice ball, and it just made it so much better! They also didn't cheap out on the green onion either. They tasted like freshly picked with lots of flavours and kick to it. It's really little things like this that makes their food extra good. Service: I am gluten sensitive, so that's why I decided to order their rice Don, but they had fried chicken in it so I asked if they can substitute for the chashu instead. They were extremely nice about it and did it for me. We also had a baby with us, and they were so accommodating with him that I couldn't have hoped for anything more. Furthermore, close to the end of our meal, they noticed we still had some meat left in our bowl without the noodle, so they gave us an additional bowl of rice for free without asking. This was extremely generous of them as I will never expect this from any restaurant, even the top notch ones. Overall this is one of the most comfortable and best dining experience I could have.

🍜 Tasty Tokyo Vibes at Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba - Kerrisdale! 🍥 🌞 Stopped by for a quick meal at Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba and was delighted by the rich flavors! I ordered the Original Ramen with Tamago and a side of Gyoza, and both dishes hit the spot. The broth was savory and comforting, a perfect treat on a chilly day. 🍲 This location offers more than just traditional ramen; they’re known for their mazesoba—brothless ramen that’s packed with umami. While I didn't try it this time, it’s definitely on my list for my next visit. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, with a modern Japanese feel that makes it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. 🥟 The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and making me feel right at home. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or new to Japanese noodles, Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba is a must-try in Kerrisdale!

Delicious food! I’ve never had Mazesoba so this was an interesting experience. The egg was delicious and I love that they give you extra rice at the end to finish your sauce. A really filling meal for lunch and probably perfect for dinner! Also like the meal combos they have as well, it makes it feel like a more well rounded meal. The milk tea was too sweet for me (not adjustable, which makes sense), I would probably not get it again but was entranced by the packaging. The cheesecake dessert was super cute and mild in flavour, which I enjoyed. It also had an Oreo cookie crumble at the bottom that added texture to the dessert. Service was really good at the beginning but once it got busy it was hard to get the servers attention. However they were very polite and friendly and did come to check often in the beginning.

I do not usually enjoy ramen, but this place was very different. During my visit, I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and Karage Bao Bun. The ramen here is much less saltier than some other places I have been to, and the bun was like the cherry on top. Each dish looked exactly like the photos and I appreciated the close attention to detail that was placed onto each place. I would also like to speak about the restaurant itself. I haven't had such a wonderful dining experience in a very long time--the design of the restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing and the staff were all so nice and caring.

This was truly such an amazing experience, my friends and I all enjoyed it very much and we were also so amazed by the quality product within a reasonable amount of time. It was busy when we arrived to the restaurant, so it was a little bit of a wait. The staff had greeted us in a timely manner, updated us on the wait time (which I thought was very caring instead of just leaving us waiting and waiting), and respected every customer who walked through their doors.

I did not take any photos during my visit because I like to enjoy being in the present moment. Trust me on this, you guys have to try out Kokoro in Kerrisdale for yourself. 10/10 food & 10/10 experience. Bonus points for easily transit accessible and lots of free parking in the...

Kokoro is definitely one of my favourite restaurant chains, serving up delicious umami mazesoba which is kind of like a dry noodle with a variety of toppings! The texture of the noodle is very similar to udon. It is a very heavy meal, definitely add the vinegar they have available! Even as someone who doesn't usually enjoy tart/vinegar flavour, I think it's an essential for this dish!

I'm so happy they're still doing their free XXL noodle promotion, where you can get more noodles at no extra cost! I love ordering the Zenbu ($~20) which comes with lots of toppings. The Niku Mazesoba is a second favourite of mine. It's definitely enough for another meal to take home! At the end of your meal, you can ask for a complimentary small rice to mix with leftover sauce and toppings. Even if I pack to take home, I can't skip out on the rice!

They also serve ramen but I wouldn't say I'd recommend it. But it is good to have other options!

The Kerrisdale location is much smaller than their other branches, so if you are a party of 4+ you may expect to wait...
