Las Autenticas Tacos y Tortas Ahogadas — Attraction in Vancouver

Went to pick up my order, tried calling their phone number it was unreachable, when the guy came out I informed him that their phone is not reachable (tried multiple times) he straight up says “open your eyes here is a bell, ring that. If you call then don’t ring bell, and if you ring bell don’t call. We are busy so you need to understand” I was surprised by the way he treated me. Then i gave my name for the order he then says “i don’t know who you are doordash,uber what ?” I said i placed an order over the phone earlier. SUDDENLY his entire body language and tone changed, his “customer service voice” came out and he was suddenly nice. This only shows that he had racially profiled me for being a delivery driver and also it showed how he treats delivery drivers!! Definitely never...

I went there because I was looking for a place to eat in a rainy day. The place does not have a dining room and some guy is standing in the entrance making sure you don't go in, feels like he's hiding something. I ordered a sandwich, they said it would take 10 minutes, I waited 20 and a lady said they forgot the order so they would hurry. I finally got my meal in a huge paper bag with did not fit in my bike so I left it on a bench outside of the place. To my surprise the guy by the door told Mr in a VERY RUDE manner that this was NOT a dumpster and I shouldn't be leaving garbage all over the place when in fact I did not. When I wanted to pay with card their machine did not work so I had ti pay cash. Terrible experience for overpriced sandwich and and terrible service....

I had a terrible experience at the Las Autenticas taco cart near Burrard. The food was average at best, but what really shocked me was the behavior of the man apparently in charge—Cesar.

He was incredibly rude and full of himself, treating both customers and staff with zero respect. It was uncomfortable to watch, and completely ruined the vibe. You’d expect some basic courtesy at a food cart, but this was the opposite—prepotent attitude, bad manners, and just a really unpleasant person to deal with.

If you’re craving Mexican food, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Vancouver has plenty of great options where you won’t be disrespected while trying to...
