Barber didnât listen to the client. Very bad at cutting curly hair. All I wanted was a little trim because I wanted to grow my hair out to get the hair style I want. The barber rejected the hairstyle I wanted because they said itâs impossible to cut it due to curliness (which is not true). Instead, the barber practically sheared my head with thinning scissors into a whole new hairstyle that I didn't want. I couldnât tell what was going on because the cutting was so quick it was like they were trying to break a world record. After the cut, I wanted to go home and buzz my hair because of how awful it looked, couldnât even look at myself in the mirror. My hair looked like a newborn babyâs but very messy and light.    Read more$20 for a men's haircut in this economy is absolutely unheard of. Although the parking around this area leaves something to be desired, there's plenty of side street parking! Despite the absolute bargain on the price, the quality that Karen delivers is unbeatable.
You begin the session with a consultation on what type of hairstyle you would like, you can even show her pictures if you're unsure of the haircut lingo. You'll receive a wash if you have product on, otherwise it's straight to the styling. Upon seeing her finished work, you'll be given an opportunity to view and make any last minute adjustments. The session ends with another hair wash, and product (if requested).
As you can see, Karen is extremely detailed and efficient while still going above and beyond. The price to quality here...

The owner, of May Li charges cheap for perm for lady. Starts at $35...( I normally pick the $60, as I got a lot of hair...)
Yet, it's a good price still. This is a price in the 1960's.

Weekdays are shorter waits. Weekend can be a 1 - 2 hour wait time.
Opened 7 days a week.. 9 am - 6.30 pm.
I used to pay $80 in the 1980's..for a perm..in a salon on commercial drive.
Men's hair cut from 3 - 90 years old is $8
(Other beauty salon charges $120-$200 for perms.)
They do a great job in cutting, styling, perm with a a modern look, a smile. You will be Soo happy with outcome of your looks. I dare to Highly recommended...
