This place used to be great, especially when it comes to supporting local farmers. I draw a line when it comes to my health and I no longer feel safe coming here. On a March 20th trip, I realized that many vendors and customers have stopped wearing masks even though there are signs everywhere. To illustrate, one vendor told us that she can't wear a mask outside. Another staff member told us that it's not enforceable and people have the option as it's only highly recommended. At one point I am clearly standing off to one side of the market, and two unmasked people walked right past my face. Even worse, there's a busy produce stall we always go to and there is way more than the 7 person limit inside WITH 3 unmasked adult shoppers. I know it's getting tiring to take precautions, but we are almost seeing the light at the end of this pandemic. We've had a year to engrain PPE habits in us, but a few people just don't get it. I go out of my way by for half a hour to shop here to support the local economy, but until after the pandemic, I'll save time, loads of money and my health by going to a big box store where PPE...

The reason I am giving this market a very poor rating is not because of the awesome vendors or the fresh and local produce. It's the way the market has been set up in zones which makes it extremely difficult to shop between vendors. Extremely time consuming. And completely counterproductive to Covid measures. My wife and I are huge Farmers Market supporters and even we cannot endure the extremely long and confusing lines and various vendors in various zones. Trout Lake summer market was a big hit and kept our local vendors in business and kept pedestrian traffic flowing. I don't know why someone has tried to fix something that was not broken. I would highly encourage the local Farmers Market officials to survey their customers as we have done informally, and you will get the same feedback. The so called zones or "mini markets" are not accomplishing its objectives and is turning loyal customers away in search of local produce that's more convenient to access. Please change this so we can resume supporting the market and...

By far the best Farmers Market I’ve been to thusfar. So many vendors. Produce is fresh. Music and vibes are magical, reminding me of simpler times. Produce is amazingly fresh. I’m a special fan of the apple chips and fresh pressed apple juice, but cheeses, goat milk, buffalo milk, and meats are so much better than from the stores. Helping farmers too by eliminating the middle man helps everyone. We go as a family and make it a special outing. Hoping next time to try the crepes. Thanks so much for this year round market. It’s not just a local favourite but a destination...

Best public Farmers market! There was no fee to get in. Most of the vendors were food-based. It was a very busy location with tons of traffic, kids, dogs. The place had a very hipster vibe. There was a live band on the east side of the road which was pretty cool. There's lots of places to get snacks and a couple coffee places as well. I liked this public market because it was easy to find parking. Don't forget to bring your own bags to carry your goodies home!

I love everything about this market. During the lock downs it was the most pleasant place to visit. Now, it is amazing as usual. The farmers are brilliant humans, doing brilliant work for peole and planet. An amazing selection of produce, meat, seafood, prepared foods, and artisans. And many food trucks! They could add another coffee truck though. This is my happy place, even on rainy days. But sunny days...heavenly.

Such a great place to hang out and find fresh produce, but also lots of local business owners… some food trucks to beat the hunger… and live music, it’s such a cozy environment, I wish there were more of those around the city. A gem! Go with an empty belly, enjoy some fresh coffee or hot chocolate, maybe some pastries, and finish with a nice meal!
