Backlot Stunt Coaster was a surprising ride — in a good way for some of us, and not so much for me! We weren’t expecting it to take off with the speed that it did — it launches you right from the start, which definitely caught us off guard. My brother and cousin actually enjoyed it way more than they thought they would, saying it was a fun and unexpected little coaster. For me personally, it left me feeling pretty shaken and a bit nauseous by the end. I’m not sure if that was entirely the ride itself or partly because of the extreme heat that day (it was hot and muggy, which probably didn’t help). Either way, it was a rougher ride for me than I expected from a coaster that looks more mild from the outside. Overall, it’s a quick, zippy ride that delivers more excitement than you’d think just looking at it. If you’re okay with a sudden burst of speed and some quick twists, you’ll probably enjoy it like my brother and cousin did — but if you’re sensitive to motion or heat, be prepared that it might leave you feeling...
Read moreBacklot Stunt Coaster is a perfect family coaster that fits into the park excellently. It starts out with a fast launch, a big forceful upwards spiral and a large drop, and rest of the ride is smooth curves, small drops, and novel parking lot theming, complete with staircases, billboards, cop cars, parking garages, cargo crates, and road signs. The ride ends with a launch into darkness after being shot at by a chopper, a forceful section in the dark, and a final drop bursting out of the billboard and under a bridge. A fun family ride...
Read moreBacklot Stunt Coaster is a very fun experience!
It features a launch that goes from 0 to 65 km/h (40mph) in 4 seconds, decent theming and a really exciting tunnel section at the end! It's quite intense for a family coaster, but doesn't have any high drops so it shouldn't be scary for younger children. The wait times are also relatively short compared to other rides. However, the experience is pretty short and is the only one that has a launch in the park. I wish they would build a launched coaster that is longer and more intense for...
