Update Oct 8, 2025: Stopping by for lunch after a business trip. Phở broth is light, flavorful, 90% authentic. Broth and solid food portion is little off; broth volume should be plenty and contain in larger bowl. I feel like eating bún khô. I have to leave 1/2 noodles as not enough broth to eat with. All chopsticks, condiment containers are spotless, very clean, this a PLUS. Service is gentle and attentive, food comes fast. Overall 4.75 stars ⭐️. (Previous review: We know that this restaurant was took over from another owner, but decided to give it a try. It’s still nice and very clean restaurant. Server is very polite and prompt. Food is below average, small portion now compared to previous owner. Using lot of MSG, my lips and throat were numb and dry after meal. Too bad this place used to be my go to when I was craving for Huế / Vietnamese dishes. Not anymore. I honestly wish they improve in the kitchen. Another demerit point was while customer enjoying their meal, the staff have loud discussion, laughing, make annoying noise. This is a place for business, not your backyard !

This was a smaller sized restaurant. Prices are a bit on the higher end as compared to other similar restaurants. Their special spring rolls are ginormous. The one order comes with 3 huge sized spring rolls, a bowl of vermicelli, veggies, garnish and fish sauce and was $20 for that dish. You can literally share between 2 adults for that one order. I just wish they had informed you about it prior to making it. The menu shows that it’s made up of shrimp, crab meat and ground pork but it was mainly (75%) ground pork only. It would’ve been nice if they turned their air conditioning on when it’s 29 degrees out - hot soups and a humid restaurant with no air circulation through it makes it very difficult to enjoy. My husband literally had to step out a few times to get the 29 degree air as it was more bearable than inside. Restaurant owner and staff don’t seem to care even though they know and can sense the discomfort as we had to pull out their menus to use as a fan.

Pho Vaughan has been around for a long time. At least this one has, compared to the new one down the block that thus far doesn't imitate its menu. We've come to this location from time-to-time over the years ever since a friend first introduced this local spot. On this visit, I had their standard Special Beef Noodle Soup which comprised of mostly rare beef to be cooked in the boiling hot broth. The soup base is generally clean though a little on the fatty side. It is quite satisfying to slurp down with the soft rice noodles. Their fried fish seems popular as a side dish for the regulars but is quite dry for my taste. A fishy sweet and sour aroma hits the second you enter the restaurant doors. There's nothing out-of-the-ordinary, but it always tends to be relatively packed at dinner time. It's another authentic family-run pho spot that serves up consistent noodle and rice dishes.

A very HORRIBLE experience at this restaurant. Do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner, who should be a representation of the quality of the restaurant only reflected to be a very racist, stingy and inconsiderate individual. Along with not bringing all our items we ordered to the table, she did serve all other neighboring customers first. We were a table of 6 people, and ordered 6 soups all varying larger sizes and were given 4 slices of frozen lime to start. When asked for more, they asked how much we needed and then provided 6 limes who were also hard, cold, and had no lime juice. We proceeded to ask for more to enjoy our meal, only for the owner to tell us "There were no more for us specifically" I took high offence to that and asked what her rationale was for this - she ignored me and took off to the back of the kitchen. During the rest of our meal time, we asked and she dismissed us. Her employee who seemed afraid to lose her job, asked to apologize she couldn't give us more limes. I don't blame the poor employee, she needs to preserve her job but at what expense. As we proceeded to pay for our unsatisfied meal, they decided to charge themselves tip on the receipt. I dealt with another gentleman at the cash register and refused to tip the service which was terrible. He proceeded to explain it was a party of 6 and they charged. They never disclosed this nor is it written anywhere on their receipt. After some back and forth, attitude, he returned our tip amount and we left. I hope there is another source of review where I can accentuate how negative the service was. We were a polite group of 6 and did not deserve to be treated different from the rest of the customers in the restaurant. Advising for any prospective customers, to save yourself of the horrible experience and find somewhere else to go and...

When entering the restaurant I expected a welcoming restaurant. When asked if we wanted tea, we said yes and asked for 6 cups of tea..... turns out we are still waiting for our tea to come. While waiting for our food to come we noticed a man was eating with his bare foot out in the open. The boss was serving them and did not say one thing about it. They gave us 3 little pieces of lime for our table of 6. When asked for more limes they gave us 2. We worked with what we got, but the lemons were frozen and had no juice in them. We asked the boss for more limes and she said from across the resaturant "no more, no more for you". We were all in shock and confused to her response, we thought we heard her wrong. When we asked another worker for more limes, she told us that she had to ask her boss if that was okay. Her boss said no and then later the worker noticed we were a big group and snuck out two more limes. When we went to pay for our not so good pho, they included the tip to our tab. We confronted them, and they said for a party of six they have to include six, we told them " we are paying separately, they never once mentioned that to us or in their menu." When the boss heard this she wa giving us bad looks and when I was waiting to pay she shoved my shoulder. The employer was annoyed that we wanted to take the tip off and when i paid in cash she threw the change in my hand. This pplace does not deserve to be rated 4 stars. Worst experiecnce and customer service I have ever experience. The boss is only ruining her reputation and her...

went there with a group of 6 and we all paid separately. service was very bad for our whole meal and when we asked for limes they refused to give us any. when we asked why, they said they were out of limes and had no more, yet 5 minutes later, 3 dishes come out with limes on them. when we asked again, they gave us 3 frozen limes. as dinner went on we tried to enjoy the meal, we asked for tea, never got it. we asked for napkins, they counted out literally just enough for our table. there were people eating without shoes in their bare feet. a child at another table had to actually go up and get his own tea because the owners would not. some of my group ordered food that wasnt spicy because they were sensitive to spice, but when the food came, it was spicy, even thought the menu did not claim so. when it came time to pay the bill, the owners included the tip in the total without our permission, and when we confronted them on this, instead of apologising they tried to keep the tip. overall, our experience at this restaurant was very disapointing and i was shocked by their lack of...
