Great Place for Kids and Birthday Parties!!
Reptilia Zoo in Vaughan is a collection of Canada's largest reptile zoos and conservation centres where they focus on animal representation, conservation, education, and magical Guest experiences. The facilities host over 250 species of reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids from all around the world, representing animals that cannot be found in other Canadian Zoos.
Need a cool place for kids to visit or have a birthday party? Look no further than Reptilia Zoo. We booked a room at Reptilia for my son's 8th birthday. The rates to book are very reasonable and can be tailored to your party. The Party booking also comes with options like having reptiles brought to the kids by a reptile specialist to show the kids, and educate the kids and some reptiles can be touched. How cool is that? All kids at the party get to visit the zoo as well.
Reptilias staff are very professional, and we had little or no issues. The only snafu we had, was that one of the parties booked before ours had stayed longer and was late leaving the room. No problem for the staff as they cleaned and disinfected our room in minutes. We were a little late getting started but we still had plenty of time for our party.
The Zoo itself is an amazing place with so many different types of reptiles and other animals from all over the world. It's a great place for kids and a great place for grownups too. Take your time and enjoy it. It's also a little humid in the zoo so be prepared for that. Did I mention all the cool memorabilia in the gift shop? be sure to check it out before and after your visit to the zoo. If you're looking for something different to do at any time of the year, give...
Read moreWe went here yesterday and my whole family had a blast, especially my 3 year old boy who's obsessed with reptiles! You can go around the place for a good 45 minutes but with the amount of exotic animals that they have, it could take you more just staring at each one for a long time plus they have mini shows and feedings depending on the time. My son was screaming his lungs out seeing his favorite iguana for the first time (he's been seeing it only on tv for the past few months). There were bearded dragons, skinks, chameleons, a lot of different snakes, caimans, crocodiles, turtles, an axolotl and other species I couldn't even name. It is an awesome place for a fan of these creatures. The place is clean and most especially, scent free. We have been to zoos where reptiles are kept indoor and the smell is the first thing you will notice. My son was able to touch a snake, a turtle and a skink during our visit and the staff were more than happy to help. I wish this place was closer to where we live but it is almost 6 hours drive from Montreal. We would definitely come back when we get the chance. If your child or you are a fan of reptiles, this is the place to go. It also is not crowded and you do not have to wait to get in. What a wonderful...
Read moreHad the worst experience of booking my son's birthday party, extremely unorganized and they don't work on best effort basis but on favors, they don't return calls and when you call they just say "we can't do anything for your booking for 2 months". Whoever manages the business need to figure out the organizing team as they call themselves "efficient" but they don't even follow a bit of it, my wife and I were so excited to plan the party, they said to book the event atleast 6 weeks in advance and so we did but when 2 weeks passed they gave the date to someone else saying "sorry, someone else had an email earlier from you", really, your team is so inefficient that they can't confirm the availability for so long and not even try to accommodate. The date I was looking for had 3 availability on the day of and just because me and my wife pointed our how unorganized they are they decided to not give us any of the 3 slots, later they started not responding our emails and our calls, let alone not returning our calls till date. I am happy with the 4/5 star reviews as the ground staff is very nice but the event organizers need to pull up their socks, anyone giving a 1 star i am in 100% agreement with them for their experience as I went...
