We came here tonight, during opening week, to check this out as we have been waiting for what feels like forever to see what would take over this building, being such a large space. We were thrilled when we found out it was going to be a restaurant and arcade so close to home. We were greeted by everyone we passed, seated promptly in the very spacious, comfortable, yet slightly upscale looking, dining area. We went with 3 adults (1 of which is a vegetarian) and 2 young kids. Our server Hayden was super friendly and knowledgeable and had a lot of great recommendations (which surprised me with the place having only been open 2 days). We ordered the jalapeno popper dip as an app (delicious!), and our kids meals right away. The food came out shockingly fast (I expected a slower turnaround with a new place) and we were shocked at the portion size of the kids meals. For only $9 (which includes unlimited refills), the kids meals are GREAT value. My one son got the pasta with tomato sauce (some of which had been eaten by the time I thought to take a pic) and my other son got the chicken tenders (which had 3 massive tenders and half a plate of fries - again, this pic wasnt taken immediately). The adults food wasn't far behind and didn't disappoint either. My mother in law ordered the farm fresh pizza (side note: we loved how many vegetarian options were on this menu but also the ease of finding them thanks to the green checkmark icon beside each of these options on the menu itself) and it was sooooo good. You don't expect hand tossed, wood oven pizza from an arcade style restaurant but trust us! Don't skip the pizza! I ordered the burger, which was sensational (moist but not because of grease) and my husband got the brisket burger (another shocker that the brisket was sooooo tender). The prices were very reasonable and matched with the portion sizes that you recieve, in my opinion. I also loved that we were able to order our gaming wrist bands through Hayden, right at our table, and just have them added to our bill. We opted for the $99 power play package which was 4 wrist bands with a total of 800 tokens that could be split between the 4 wristbands in any quantity we wanted. The food was great, the prices were great, the atmosphere was great, the games were so much fun, and our server Hayden was somehow still the star of the show. I truly hope this level of service continues as the place gains popularity, because I can confidently say that we will be regulars here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe recently had a visit to experience the new restaurant in Vaughan (Aug 30, 2025). We went for lunch and it started out great. We were seated for lunch right away and our server came to greet us at our table within a few minutes. We asked for some recommendations and she was very nice and gave us some suggestions. Then, the food came to the table and thatās what things started to go wrong. The chicken and waffles my son ordered looked ok but the taste was not. The savoury waffles were way too salty and the chicken was nothing special. My brisket burger was good but the Game Time burger was way too salty. During lunch, the server was nowhere to be seen and my husbandās empty beer glass was not taken away, or even asked if we wanted more drinks. When we were finished our meals, the server finally came and saw the pile of uneaten waffles. She didnāt if everything was ok and just asked if we wanted the bill. We said sure and she brought the machine with the bill and again didnāt ask about our āexperienceā. So I mentioned that the waffles very salty even for a savoury waffle and that it was not edible. My son only ate the chicken and that was it. She then tried to brush it off and didnāt even offer to try to help. Instead, she asked if we wanted to take it home with us. I am not mad at the server, but Iām not happy either. She obviously hasnāt been trained properly by the management. Itās a shame because now a days, going out to have a nice time with friends and family is pricey and the service is not the same. The quality of food is lacking and the standards for good service has gone down. GameTime social really needs have some quality testing done with food that goes out to their customers. The food was not a good at all. I would have thought that being a new place, the manager would be making sure that quality is there. Overall, food was not great, service was subpar and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time attending this brand new venue⦠We went to watch Thursday night football season opener - eagles vs cowboys. As soon as we walked in I was blown away at the size of the place - and it was packed. Hard to find a parking spot in the huge lot. The place was an absolutely electric atmosphere to watch a prime time sporting event. Stadium/theatre audio and massive screens made it feel as though you were at the game. They also had a huge arcade area seperate from the bar. There is no ādiningā area here. Anywhere you sit you will be immersed in the āsports barā atmosphere.
I ordered the Cajun rigatoni which arrived within 10 minutes and it was probably the best pasta Iāve had in my life. Cooked Al dente with the perfect but not overbearing spicy kick. My friend wanted to order the happy hour specials of 8 wings and a medium pizza. Happy hour started at 830 pm. It was 829. He was advised the price change wouldnāt happen until 830 so asked if she could wait a minute for 830 and she walked away after taking my order. My food arrived before he could order the happy hour specials.
It took about 50 minutes for his wings to arrive, and an hour and 20 minutes for his pizza to arrive. During this time he had one beer and I had received my entire meal and three pints. There was definite confusion between the servers and the kitchen staff and it was clear they were overwhelmed with the huge crowd. Iāll give them a pass due to the fact that itās a brand new joint still ironing out the kinks with their first packed house.
My friend thought his food was great when it finally did arrive and agreed the atmosphere was the best place to catch a game in Vaughan. Weāre hopeful the staff can use this night as a learning experience and weāre optimistic the corresponding adjustments will be made upon...
