I’d like to start off by saying the drive to the beach was beautiful lots of country sides and clean air. The beach it self was also nice with a bit of muddy waters but warm and clear as you swim a bit down. There are 5 beach’s here from beach 1-2 being more of a young crowd and party while beach 3-5 are family friendly especially Beach 5 with lots of seating areas social distancing parking and bbq’s are allowed. Also the washrooms at beach 5 were kept clean I wouldn’t know about the other beaches since I didn’t go there. Having said all this you’d expect a 5 star from me but unfortunately that’s not the case and here is why... The locals! The locals are not friendly they give a sort of a bad vibe and don’t seem to like city visitors and outsiders. You can see it in their attitudes when you walk into a restaurant or go visit certain areas you will feel out of place. Even the police feel a bit off. I spoke to a local and he was talking about how every summer city crowds (especially young ones) come and trash the place and cause problems. But then again because of the actions of a few everyone shouldn’t be judged the same. I am a family man and visited here with my family and felt very uncomfortable... I also felt like because I was not a Caucasian male I got a racist vibe from the folks here. I was born and raised in Canada and am a hard working individual who pays my taxes and put my fair share of bit when it comes to being a citizen of this great country..it’s sad to see this outcome in such a beautiful place and not to mention the fact this place thrives off tourists and visitors during the summer. It’s mainly thanks to the city travellers outsiders and tourists that such a place like this can exist and be a city. Or else it would just be another lake on the map. Please be more minding of the visitors and have some respect because we are the ones putting your town on the map. Thank you...

Wasaga Beach is a busy place. Lots of people , traffic, and urban living set the atmosphere of these series of provincial parks. Absolutely the longest, Sandy beaches... but the most populated as well. There was a lot of debris in the shoreline water, and I couldn't see the bottom or what I was stepping on. The gate staff was helpful and courteous. The washrooms were well maintained and well supplied with tissue, soap, etc. There are picnic tables, but try to get as far away from the garbage bins as possible... there were many wasps around our picnic... we had to relocate to a better area for lunch. Rant on visitors and their trash: Be sure to use the pack in / pack out rule. Whatever you pack into the park, also pack out of the park. There is absolutely no excuse for littering in 2023... you've been educated on the environmental impacts of littering... do your part! We were able to collect a grocery sized bag amount of trash to dispose of from the ground, and that is unacceptable behaviour from park visitors. It's not on the staff. They do their best for the park, visitors must do their best too. End of...

I love the park, kid friendly and very relaxing. I was there on Canada day FREE parking GREAT!! but when they close the gate at about 1pm, a few people who went out to buy some food or something couldnt go back in even though they have their parking pass with them. If this is the rule i fully agree, and respect that with all my heart, but it should be for everyone. I watched this Dad, who begged the lady guard to let her in coz his wife and kids are at the beach. No one could help her out of the beach. The lady guard said "sorry sir i cant help you, I cant let anyone in anymore, there is enough people already". Again, I respect that without a question. But how come that after about 20 minutes, the gate opened and let a dark minivan in. This poor dad watched them openned the gate for this minivan. if you were this Dad, how would you feel? I'm not mad coz i still had a great time with my family and friends at the other beach, but...

"While my visit during winter did not align with the optimal season for this venue, it is noteworthy that this place thrives during the summer months. The abundance of nearby dining options and exclusive availability of water activities during the warmer season enhances its appeal. For a comprehensive experience, it is advisable to plan a visit during the summer to fully appreciate the offerings, as the winter season may limit certain attractions. Nonetheless, the potential for an enriched experience in the right season makes this destination worth considering for future visits."

We went to Wasage beach after 5 years. Beach is crowded as expected but you can always find a spot in the beach. Better to be early as 9 am to find best spots and table. After 11 AM it will be really crowded on weekends. Wasaga beach 5 water is not good as Wasaga beach 1&2. But Wasaga beach 5 is full of trees and parking is close to the water. Washrooms are not cleaned often, so it's really messy as day progress. Only reason for 4 star is Washrooms. Parking is 21$ as of July 30th 3022. There is a LCBO and Pizza Hut closeby. Overall great place for a day trip with family.
