This is a beautiful place in which I have been visiting for my entire life, having grown up just down the street from the park. I love to walk here for peace and solitude. I know of a few spots where a small camp fire can be safely lit and extinguished, shovels provided for the sand to smother the flames, and firewood pre cut to burn. All it takes is a little know how to get a cozy flame lit and one can just sit there and ponder the universe and all it holds with no thought to outside stresses for however long one chooses to visit. In the winter season, of course they would prefer you bring skis and a trail pass as a lot of work goes into keeping the trails groomed. At this time of year, a nighttime sit at the entrance where there is 24/7 lighting and benches as well as tables is plenty enough for me to hang out and clear my mind. As apposed to my new home in Warren, I need not worry about the wildlife. With the rest of my family still in Wasaga. This park will forever be a part of my life. I have fond memories of the place...
Read moreIncompetent staff! My family is completly disapponted with unproffessionality of the staff on Sunday Feb 17, 2019 at 11:15 a. m. We used the service of this park (Bluberry Trail) including ski rental and pass tickets on Saturday Feb 16 and disscussed possibility to rent ski for tommorow to use it on Wasaga trail. We receieved confirmation. Next day morining another employee said that it us not allowed to rent the ski only. They said that their employee Tim shouldn't confirm possibility of rent yesterday... My complain is - if it is not allowed to rent ski only, it must be clear written in the Policy and staff must have solid understanding of this Policy and respond Customer inquery adequatly. Our todays plans were ruined because of Blueberry Trail...
Read moreThis is a great gem in the middle of Wasaga Beach. the cross country trails here really make you feel like you went somewhere far north to have these scenes. I have actually been a resident of Wasaga for many many years, and its embarrassing how many times i have gone to Blue Mountain for Winter and Summer activities, meanwhile the Wasaga Nordic Center is phenomenal. Breathtaking views and super friendly staff. Its also very quiet and not crowded. Which is perfect if you are here doing a hobby activity... I'm just saying there are far...
