When a restaurant has NO working washrooms, I believe they MUST close. This was the case on August 12th, 2022. We went there for their Friday Fish & Chips special, which was great, but both men's and women's facilities were out of order. When my wife went to use the washroom she was told that she could not because they were not working. She sarcastically said "I guess I'll have to pee in the parking lot" to which the bartender replied "Do you want some napkins to take with you?". I find this strange as an inspection was carried out by the Town of Wasaga Beach the previous Friday (2022/AUG/05). I was expecting that our check would be partially compensated (one meal free perhaps?) because of this, but it was not.That would have helped to change my mind. The service was subpar as well, but I was told it was the server's first night. The check was $29.50 for two specials & 2 beers and I tipped $5.00 additional to that. I feel that my tip was too much and I was told afterwards that the server didn't even get to keep it and that instead it would go to management.
