Wasaga Beach Area — Attraction in Wasaga Beach

Extremely disappointed by the town of Wasaga beach. As a resident this entire city caters to retirement people. The younger generation will not move to Wasaga beach. We lack decent gyms like LA fitness, restaurants and other activities. The city caters to the retirement folks. I love the beach I grew up mostly here when I was a kid I have a cottage that I love to go and visit at times the air is so clean compared to the city the water is refreshing the only thing is no one's been taking care of the beach properly anymore the Sands have washed up too close to the little vendors on the beach and nobody cleans it up since covid so it's pretty much swallowed the beach whole with sand I miss the old arcade that used to be there unfortunately it burnt down if you want a nice place to go for a swim it is amazing but eventually places like this get boring without...

The beach is clean and well-maintained. I visited over the weekend, but unfortunately, it was windy and rainy both days. I even received a tornado warning on my phone while sitting on the beach. 😅 Despite the weather, the place is amazing. The water was clear, and the beach offered a variety of food options, including convenience stores, food trucks, coffee shops, and bars.
